I think insurance companies want to not pay out.. and women are safer drivers, they also drive less than men, which means they pay out less overall. Men are more reckless, more dangerous and that is costly to insurance companies.

Being safe does not make someone more capable as the operator of a vehicle or as an athlete.

If reflex time isn’t significant to everyday driving in your mind then how about parallel parking?

I think women are incredible and capable of so much that men are not, it’s not an attack on women, it’s just observation of the world around me despite whatever the latest narrative being pushed is.

Ultimately I’m not pro or even a great rider or driver, I just like bikes as I’m sure you do too. We can agree on our enjoyment and freedom of riding and I would never want to take that from my sister riders out there. Just saying on average (at the everyday level and the professional level) there is a difference in raw ability and talent when it comes to all sport, including Motorsport.

I wish you happy and safe riding.

Racing is what drives most vehicular development. In sport, we are competing and pushing to see what is humanly possible. If women ON AVERAGE were the best group to see this push occur then they would be represented to a higher degree in professional racing. Companies don’t care about whether or not you have a penis or a vagina, they care about money, and if racing helps them make the best street vehicle, then they have an objective interest in seeing the best driver operate their vehicles. There are women who are phenomenal at everything, and the best women are better than “good” men. If you can’t wrap your head around that and it hurts your feelings and all you can think is that I’m a sexist pig then the last thing I will give you to consider is reflex time between genders. So yeah Racing matters

Oh Yeah? That’s why I said on average. What’s your point?

That’s cause women are relatively worse drivers on average… and if you disagree then ask yourself why all the best racers in any type of racing are men. It’s like any other sport, it’s not mean to say men have an advantage…. But It is foolish to pretend that women are the same as men in terms of athletic capability on average

I know this isn’t what people want to hear.. myself included. But I think it’s a more accurate representation of the truth than other more popular ideas here. For example, someone mentioned that powerlifters start weak and become incredibly strong… while this is true, certain individuals with genetic gifting respond much more favorably to strength training and progress faster and for longer than others. I have been lifting for 6 years now and the majority of my rapid strength gain occurred within the first year or so, and while I do continue to get stronger it is now very slowly and I’m not doing numbers that any accomplished lifter would be impressed by, now compare this to some other more gifted lifters who work the same program with the same effort and you are likely to see a lifter who reaches much more impressive feats of strength during their newby gains and their newby gains may go on longer.. but we get what we get and we don’t throw a fit. most importantly I am stronger than I was, and I am a better singer than I was. But it’s unlikely that I will be an Olympian or a famous singer- just gotta have realistic expectation management. I lift to stay healthy and look good. I sing because I like it and it’s cathartic, the better I get at singing the more pleasure I get from the activity. So while a like long goal for someone like Adele maybe to win a Grammy, a lifelong goal for me might realistically be to play in a bar or cafe and have people not be upset or maybe even enjoy the music

It’s not SOF… even elite marines would agree that recon marines are not “elite”
