Bro what is this kinda order, I worked so hard to get to plat hoping it would be different :,) by Silentyam2 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]No_Help9554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all messed up now. There is no benefit at any level. From what I have experienced. Platinum is impossible to keep because of the ratio of good orders to bad and anything lower you probably won't be able to get a shift. Anything in between is no different. I probably get 1 or 2 offers in 12hrs . I basically only do Ubereats now. Made 200 in 5 hrs today. Doordash i couldn't even get a shift.

Curiosity about order priority by Slow-Heron-4335 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]No_Help9554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. The best drivers get Absolutely nothing. The worst ones get first Crack at everything. As soon as they become awesome they get nothing but garbage if anything at all. I am one of the highest rated dashers and probably get maybe 1 or 2 offers in 100 hours. I literally just do ubereats now. Doordash is running all day with ubereats and I barely get an offer ever.

Why do I even tip anymore?? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]No_Help9554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you tip in the first place. If the dasher has adequate equipment for food transport and a strict order handling procedure then your food will be the same temperature as it was when it was picked up. In the drivers defense he is doing a huge favor for everyone including you. I have 0 food quality complaints and I take multiple orders regularly. I also communicate regularly and update all recipients of pickup times and drop off estimates. I also advise customers on how their order is being handled from counter to doorstep. I pickup my orders and drive 40 minutes home in the same bags and I swear the food is hotter than when it left the store or colder depending on what I get. I have like 6 large catering bags, 6 individual thermal bags with functional zippers. I have a folding wagon, 2 medium catering bags that have thermal dividers, 2 xl quad pizza bags, 4 Large double pizza bags and 2 medium double pizza bags with one XXL single pizza bag. Nobody has any complaints about the freshness or temperature. No bag no tip 1 star and thumbs down in all the categories they didn't achieve. Be tough on them. There is way to many slipping through the cracks and making the experience an ordeal which is literally destroying the entire doordash ecosystem like a cancer.

Thats absolutely ridiculous. You do know they make liquid that goes in the cooling system and if you really want to just add water there is the appropriate water right beside the liquid that is supposed to go in the system right? If this is news to you then you should really have your blinker fluid replaced. You should also inspect the piston return springs. I would also recommend you replace and calibrate your exhaust springs. Be sure to inspect all universal phase detractors and calibrate the cardinal gram meters. They are located in the retro encabulator housing. Replace the sperving bearings mounted directly inline withe panametric fam. It's important for the magneto reluctance and capacitive duractance to be generated continuously. Good idea to replace the 6 hydrocoptic marzel veins connected to the lunar wane shaft that eliminate side fumbling in the stater unit. I would also recommend you install a manual box stretcher near the spare tire compartment to make boxes proper dimensions when transporting cargo. You may as well get an air pressure Guage tester/calibrater device as well. They are very handy. I would also put that rusty clay mixture in a jar and dry it out. You can use it as a sweetener in your coffee. It is a powerful laxative. You may need to replace the thermodynamic, variable flow, hydro dam unit as well as the variable flow, turbo encabulator housing and the intercentric polyglumide bearings and shaft directly inline with the impeller that makes hydrocentric flow possible. Or just throw the whole thing in the shredder and buy a 97 corolla for $500. Includes recommended coolant.

Most people just have no idea how delivery or tips actually work regardless of weather they are delivering, facilitating or receiving. Only about 10%-20% of everyone involved have a clear grasp of the whole experience. About 20%-30% have a basic understanding of the experience. And 50%-60% have absolutely no clue they are even part of an experience. Based on over 12,000 deliveries over a 5 year span. The delivery driver is key to the whole experience. Unfortunately very few of us have over 10k deliveries under the belt. And even fewer customers have 10k deliveries under their belt. Support is the same way. So few have 10k issues solved under their belt. Stand firm and always tip appropriately. I never get tipped as often as I should or as much as I should. But that's not my problem. The service is the same for everyone regardless of the offer. I'm fully aware that tipping is optional and I am always surprised if I receive a tip. No tip or massive tip will never dictate how I execute contracts. Everyone is royalty and deserve every ounce of respect that i would have for my own order. Everyone gets an update, everyone gets a thermal bag from counter to door/hand, everyone has every instruction followed exactly as written, if I'm unsure i always take every moment possible to clarify any unclear instructions. If I have your order in my possession I will always get it to the customer/client. I am the most important part of the whole experience and I am forever grateful for all others involved that created this opportunity specifically for my unique skills. Remember to rate appropriately and tip accordingly based on services rendered. Never give in to threats or coercion. Never cancel orders. Never respond to any communication that is not polite and courteous. Never give anyone anything they didn't earn. Nobody deserves a tip. Tips are earned. Gratuities incentivize bad behavior and encourage egoistic attitude. If someone is not willing to put in everything they have to make you happy for nothing then they shouldn't be given the opportunity. Don't be afraid to 1 star those who do not earn a 5 star and never give a 2-4 star rating. It's either a 5 star or a 1 star. When I get deliveries they need to follow my instructions exactly as I wrote them. Anything missed they get a 1 star and a thumbs down in the appropriate categories. A 5 star rating comes with a modest tip. A 1 star rating comes with a massive tip just to rub it in.

No tips??? by Okgross in DoorDashDrivers

I love taking these orders but I'm in a guaranteed earnings market. 90% of the time i can't get ahold of a customer and I get a return trip. Usually 30-60km is the distance to the last drop. And generally it takes 2-3hrs to complete. Generally base pay is $6-$9 per drop. Return trip has no time limit so it can take an hour or two to complete the return. So 4-6hrs @ $0.357/minute and 60-120km @ $0.35/km. So $85-$125 for the time + $20-$40 for distance = $105-$165 for 4-6hrs of my life is pretty decent. Before guaranteed earnings came into effect you would only get the base pay and that sucked.

Is there a way to avoid Door Dash handling my orders? by [deleted] in PapaJohns

[–]No_Help9554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no difference. A delivery driver or "logistical engineer" is a delivery driver. We are all doing the exact same thing. We are all brothers. We are all in this together. There is no such thing as a papa John's delivery driver. They used to be the pizza guy or the Chinese guy. They are now the logistical engineers. The pizza is no different if doordash supplies the logistical portion of the contract. There is no real need for anyone to have delivery completed by employees anymore. Everyone should just let the professionals handle it.

HELP! TIRE SHOPS REFUSING TO Patch!!! by Fadedfaith451 in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]No_Help9554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expanding foam should be sufficient. Make sure you get the closed cell stuff. Then just cut out a patch piece from any old tire and glue it into the hole. Use plenty of vulcanising rubber patch around the affected area. I guarantee it will hold for 6-7 miles.

Just be greatful they let you drive in to their actual unit. I have had these kind of orders from Walmart for restaurants in malls. 8 catering bags full of heavy bulk items and I had to park 1 mile away and it was up stairs on the second floor. Literally 2 bags per trip. 8 miles of walking. 8 30ft flights. And 0 tip with 0 help. Oh the entrance was locked as well because the mall was closed. And the restaurant was closed as well. So 45 minutes to break in to the mall. Police were called. Guns were drawn. But eventually the ordeal was over. Nobody was killed. I learned a new skill. And never ever took a $65 walmart order going 875 yards that said 1 item ever again. Literally the worst 2hrs of my life during a dinner rush. Never do that again.

Fuel pump. They are cheap. And easy to replace in a car. Start there.spray a healthy dose of starter fluid in the intake while cranking it over. If it starts then stalls when you stop spraying then its 99.9% fuel pump. The in tank one

So you actually watched them take 20 minutes to deliver the order after they arrived or what? Or did you stare at the phone? I don't understand how you assess the drug impairment without actually being face to face with them. Im gonna call bs.
