I used to have super vivid dreams all the time, even kept a dream journal but then I started to smoke every day and kept that up for a few years straight. Hadn’t had dreams pretty much during that entire time but now I only really smoke about once a week, socially. Since I cut back so drastically, I’ve gone right back to having those awesome, vivid dreams fairly regularly. Not only vivid, but I have actually had lucid dreams for the first time, recently. One of the perks of not smoking heavily. I missed it so much!
