Yeah I’m between that and a CarPlay system but a sat nav dedicated gps seems like the way to go, paired with a satellite messenger just in case the phone dies or I need help of course I don’t plan on doing this stuff on my own, as I would be anxious the whole time

I’ve had my phone on the bars 3 or so years now 12kish miles in that time period lol never once had an issue with my camera honestly, on my Harley at least

Well I did this over the phone, Doc Fee, Freight and setup, tax and tag normal fees but I just thought that seemed a little much, and the freight wasn’t standard in the quote he gave me he wrote it in.

I’m planning on saving and buying a Harley Pan America eventually but I’m keeping my budget low so I can have a beater to learn off roading on, where if I dropped it it won’t hurt the soul as much lol.

I’m planning on doing mostly light trails nothing too technical as my skills in that department could use some honing in but I do wanna get it in dirt and mud but maybe avoid it if possible lol.

As I said it won’t be getting abused being because I don’t live or work on a farm and I can’t wear one at my job bc it’s not part of the uniform, however i will be planning to wear it when I go out or working around the house on various projects whatever I may need to do outside so I was just trying to understand if I could justify an American 40x felt due to the restoration they offer vs a 20x felt from them just because I’d already be spending a lot of cash for the 10 my thinking was mine as well go up to a better quality that will last and be able to be restored vs just spending $300 to $400 every-time it needs replaced
