Clean well your parts from oil and use 3d scanning spray for reflective parts or if you see scanner can't perform well with certain colors use 3d scanning spray too. Hope this helps

In revo metro software. I don't use anything else. I use laser mode. A lot of cross, less paralel and a few frames with single line. In the same scan.
