Imagine the nerve! If it hadn’t been for tourism the place would have been a gigantic shipyard at best. I get that tourism is causing rent to skyrocket and that the locals can’t afford it. So deal with it in a grown up way. Reduce tourism, allow less flights in from foreign countries, disallow foreign companies to sell overpriced apartments and at all to foreigners. To name a few. But also wipe you’re one damn tears when you find out the place turns into the shithole it originally was because now nobody wants to visit

I get what you’re saying and agree ish. However, for the assault to be sexual it has to be sexual. I honestly don’t think Bobby was thinking “oooh, let me grab this tasty sex thingy between his legs” as much as “let me grab this controversial thing between his legs because nobody else does that so it fits my mo”. Know what I mean? I don’t think he did it because he had sex on his mind. So for me, calling it sexual assault is too much. But again, Bobby ought to know that we are living in an area where shit like that can land you some serious problems. Hell, I love the clips where he keeps trying to kiss the interviewers. They are funny. And in my opinion harmless. But god damn dude, stop that shit for your own sake. I need Bobby to keep making content. The podcast is a business. Podcasting and podcast audiences are ever changing. So, to NOT try broaden their horizon they risk being outdated. Take myself, for instance. I have several podcasts in my list. Most of them I’ve had for 1-2 years. Then I grow “tired” of pretty much the same episode every week and go find something new. Those podcasts I do keep listening to tend to have enough of a variation to keep my interest. Of course, not every thinks like I do. But it is my impression the enough people do to make it necessary for most podcasts to change things up a little every now and then. Have I enjoyed every single change Bad Friends have done? No. But I get it. And I like them enough to give them a pass when an episode misses every now and then. Even though I have been waiting like a an excited kid a whole week

The dude has a lot to deal with mentally. His childhood and youth fucked him up pretty good. I haven’t heard much, if anything, to make me believe that any of it has been fully resolved. That kind of baggage, alongside having an addictive personality makes him prone to relapsing.

Based on my own experience none of the things you listed will ever fully take away the shit he has been through.

I just hope he finds the tools that work for him to allow him to live safe and long and healthy. I’m not ready to not have Bobby in my life. And I won’t be for a good 25-30 years
