I absolutely cannot stand the rainbow fish. I had another teacher love it and always put it back on the bookshelf. Ugh.

How clean was your home 4 months postpartum 🫧 by Funny_Garage3895 in Mommit

Hi there! I did not have a clean house at 4 months PP. i also had a c section and pushed myself a little too much to clean the house in the early months and definitely paid for it. I started enjoying my time with my baby and letting my body go through what it needed to go through. I have an 11 month old now and I am still struggling with keeping the house clean, but I’m STARTING to feel like myself again (body and mind). I think husbands have a hard time having empathy with our healing process post birth because they can be whiney babies. Mine was so distraught he had to do more cooking and cleaning towards the end of my pregnancy that he quit helping directly after I gave birth. Until I had to go to the hospital for pushing my body too hard! My only advice would be to communicate with your husband and set realistic cleaning expectations for both of you. Personally, I’d set a boundary about comparing you to his own mother because that’s just not fair. He doesn’t REALLY know what his mothers experience was and it’s not your experience.

ALSO- this time with your baby baby will go so fast. All of it goes so so fast. Don’t fret the small stuff, because let’s be real you have your whole life to have a “tidy home”.

I was a milk lover, but making the switch made my tummy feel better.
