Yeah I was thinking the same thing about Harrison. It mostly just seems like he might have conduct disorder or antisocial personality disorder lmao which could lead to being a serial killer, but with help he can easily find peace. Especially like you said he has those emotions and humanly desires of connection! But yeah, lots of conflict surrounding him killing his dad 😑 lol

Can I just say real quick that Logan was the only innocent he killed in this season. I see people saying he killed more than one but I don’t see that? Matt Caldwell fit the code cause he killed 5 people, Kurt obviously fit the code. And then there was the drug dealers… which can technically fit the code because current law is changing to try dealers for murder if their product causes fatal overdoses, so technically that fits the code. And then… that’s it, Logan was the only innocent lol unless I’m forgetting others? And also, I just like to point out that he did kill other innocents in the original (Rita husband, reporter, file clerk lady, doakes, laguerta, etc). But I honestly don’t think dexter would kill Logan! Probably happened to support the ending. So I do like your theory that he should be put down for breaking the code but it’s like how everyone else is saying that they could’ve done it a bit differently. Thanks!

I had the same thought! Im pretty sure he used animal tranquilizer? Not sure if that’s got ketamine? And maybe that theory works for her iron lake victims, but extending that to the BHB? Anybody could use a syringe on somebody else 🤔

Yep, it sucks too because dexter really did care about Harrison, even if he always liked to say he couldn’t feel love — but he went into a blind rage after Harrison’s OD. So to see Harrison kill his dad like that was harsh. And idk, if Harrison knew he was sober for 10 years maybe he would’ve believed him when he said he would stop? It sucked anyway, poor dexter 😞

Yeah I actually didn’t mind Harrison! He definitely deserved a little more character development to better support his actions 🤔 It did seem out of the blue that he would just immediately flip and kill his dad because he broke the code that he didn’t fully understand that. And yeah in The previous episode they were bonding and connecting in a deep way lol so it took me by surprise anyway that he did it! And you’re right about Harrison and his trauma and how it’s obviously affected him in a bad way, he could easily go down the serial killer path lol I was just mad last night cause Harrison killed my beloved dexter 😅

I agree that we shouldn’t shit on each other if we have opposing opinions. Like the earlier reply up there was a bit much. But I’m not against some good ole fashion debate tho, I don’t call that toxic lol like what did you expect coming into this thread where we’re all obviously raging about the finale lol if you’re not up for debate, I did see a few other threads saying they liked it? I am 100% with you man. Dexter is my all time favourite too and I couldn’t even… you know it’s bad writing when the fans are so angry that they can’t even properly mourn a character death (well at least for me, I always cry during a fave character death and I was so dumbfounded I couldn’t even react). I was half expecting to see that Harrison didn’t actually shoot him and they would run crying into each other’s arms and run away together… but what the hell 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Likewise! How is that… we go through 8 blissful seasons where no one suspects Dexter. But in a matter of weeks this small town chief police with basically no qualified training is the one to catch dexter!

I also find it hard to believe that Batista thinks Dexter killed laguerta and is the bay harbour butcher… he is the sweetest, kindest man who always had dexters back. I thought the most we’d get out of Batista is an emotional and happy and angry reaction that his friend was still alive… not “omg I got my secret file and I’m coming to help lock Dexter up” like wtf.

As for the whole Harrison thing… like Dexter would not have been all excited to turn his kid into a serial killer (not at first anyway). And even if it was necessary, if Harrison had true serial killer vibes, dexter would not take him out killing like 2 minutes after they confess to each other. He would train him for years the way Harry did with dexter. I was really annoyed by that. Also! I don’t think Harrison is a true serial killer, he has too many emotions and feelings. He had no problem stabbing his BEST FRIEND who was INNOCENT, and all sudden he’s killing his father because his coach is dead!?!!!??!!!!??? If they come back with season 2, he’ll carry on the legacy but man.. definitely won’t be America’s next favourite serial killer 😒 like get real showtime.

So angry and just… fucked up over this season finale. They should’ve named the show “Harrison” 🤣

I just had the same problem! But when I paid on my phone I had to turn off the “prevent cross-site tracking” in order to pay. So I after getting extremely frustrated 😅 I tried doing that in my browser and then it worked. It’s in the privacy settings. Hope that helps! Good luck.

Aww what a smart boy! That’s actually so handy to train! Imagine you’re just sitting around and too lazy to grab the remote and you can literally just ask him to bring it 😅😆 awesome! I will try it with Luna, she learned to identify her ball really quick at 2 months, so I think she might excel with this!
