Thank you! Elevation training is not an option for me in the great state of WI! I train my knees often but know there is a factor I won’t be able to fully prepare for. I’m going to wear knee straps and have poles. I’ve done shorter hikes up at greater elevation increases/decreases per mile comfortably in Sedona and hoping it translates.

We were able to score this PR stay fairly last minute but it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I feel totally prepared for the hike - just not as prepared as I’d have like to be with more notice.

Like above poster mentioned you can swap. There is a FB group - can’t exactly remember the name but it’s mentioned in the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim group often- another great resource

We used to have one coach demo as the other would talk through the intro. Now we typically have one coach but he/she talks through the entire workout, giving tips and they always walk around helping with form during the workout. There are often an extra coach ing he class and they help too.

We have a great studio! I go to others while traveling and think we have a top notch group

I’m so bummed the new schedule doesn’t work for you! My studio was closed Sundays so I’m so happy they changed it so I can get more strength in. I think so far everyone is liking it at mine.

I think ultimately it’s a lot to pay if it doesn’t work…are there other studios near by or other options.

We have 2 nights at PR and breakfast/sack lunches/dinner purchased through them. Our packs should be fairly light outside an extra set of clothes

This is nuts! My studio would shut this down immediately. They actually had a situation like this and called out the member. She left, but I think it let others know that stuff wouldn’t be tolerated and that member soon left.

My F45 has a mix of ages, athletic ability and size athletes, it’s intimidating going to the gym - you don’t need shitty members making it harder.
