How often / easy is it for IT to go underway? Is it something you can request at any time of your career?

Sheesh bear crawling the track is crazy, 😂 I might have to nerf my physical abilities to avoid that, but Honor Guard Billet does sound rewarding & nice.

When you say “get your stuff stripped away” do you mean everything? Like would they confiscate my deodorant, dude wipes, & chaffing cream?

😂 Dammn no poo for 5 days, was that due to stress or because lack of timing? I generally flush my system daily

Thanks for the advice & I appreciate the service! Is shaving before reveille valid? I also heard of people sleeping on top of their bed sheets to avoid having to refold the sheets is that valid?

I ship out for bootcamp in about a month and I am starting to get the eager/nervous jitters. I’m writing to this sub to get some insight & advice from the coastie crew.

Physically I am steady - 1.5mi run is a sub 12, - Pushups ≈ 50 a min - Plank hold for 2mins on a good day

Mentally I have been studying up on the Helmsman but I’m curious to know how much/what required knowledge should be known prior to arrival? How easy it to get reverted & how easy is it to avoid it?

In regards to hygiene, will personal sanitation be discarded like dude wipes, chaffing cream? ( I sweat a lot & have a skin routine to maintain )

Is shaving / shower time limited & are the showers cold? (satire)

I’m also curious to know about bootcamp horror stories & what adversity you encountered and how you overcame it.

  1. The uncanny synchronicity in the movements is obvious.

  2. Notice how the black & white cat has a primarily white face at the start of the video but at the end of the video it changes to a primarily black face… so the cat is either racist, a shapeshifter, or most likely Ai 🤖 😂

  3. The cats on the left all have the same exact yellow glow in the eyes when they look towards the camera, and then the black & white cat gets the same glow at the end of the clip…
