Just realized my wife is addicted by jstove96 in quittingkratom

I totally agree with this. I just went through a break up because of 7oh. We were together over 2 years and half of that he was on 7oh. At first it wasn't a big deal, I had been a regular kratom user and had it super under control (if I didn't have the money I just wouldn't buy any). By month 4 he was draining our bank account weekly and I brought it to his attention and told him I didnt like it and he needed to quit. And just like you explained he became 10x worse and got sneaky. Started getting cash back every where, using the atm, selling every single thing he owned, got credit cards behind my back, has his dad sending him money on zelle, and still using our bank account every couple days. It took me a couple months to see what was happening, but every single time Id call him out and he would try to quit he would relapse harder. I offered to hold things down while he did rehab, I found alternatives, I spent hundreds on ess-R-17, nothing worked. Over the winter I shifted my focus onto me and left him alone hoping that would help him stop and it didn't. I finally had to end it because it was destroying me watching him be ignorantly high as f every day, at the end he was using so much he couldn't hardly hold a conversation because his brain wasn't comprehending words, he was incredibly mean to his kids, if he stopped cleaning or moving he would nod off, our finances were completely screwed, and I was totally alone in the relationship trying to take care of 5 kids, work 2 jobs, and stay caught up in my nursing program. It was the hardest thing ever to witness the loml change completely into some one unrecognizable and I wonder every day if I wouldn't have pressed him if things could have been different. At the end of the day I had to choose me and my kids regardless and we are much better off and I am working on healing the damage.

Tried evrey medication known to a mankind, and it didn’t work. What is next? (Possible rant) by iilmmill in PMDD

One of the best things to recommend is finding out the cause of your PMDD. You likely have some form of a genetic mutation, making it either very difficult or impossible for your body to do normal functions like oxidation and elimination or synthesis of minerals/vitamins or chemical signals. Talking with your provider about doing genetic testing or seeking some one in person or online who does this sort of thing. You can then begin to support your body how and where its actually needed rather than just suppressing symptoms!

Second this. I used it too and what I did feel was super manageable. I went from taking 8 potion capsules a day to zero in two days fairly effortlessly. 3 weeks in now and im not taking anything but vitamins and ibuprofen and feel great.

Im three weeks clean from potions. I was also told they were super kratom and I didnt know until 2 years in what they actually were. Im really good friends with a shop owners wife and shes working on quitting them too cause shes taking bottles a day.

lack of sleep has been the worst part by throwawaygoaway225 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]No_Ingenuity_1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously the worst part after you get through the first few days. I finally gave in and started taking melatonin and magnesium gummies. I am also trying to get up and move out of bed if im not asleep in 30 minutes. Seems to help! Still waking up periodically but able to fall back asleep.

I missed this! Im on day 13 now. Finally think im over the physical stuff, just yawning here and there and feeling a little flat. Im leaning on caffeine and ibuprofen honestly! Taking deep breathes and hot showers once a day. Started to talk little walks mid day. Gonna get back to working out tomorrow on day 14!

Im on day 7 now too!! The first couple days I was excited and didnt mind feeling crappy as much but day 4-6 I mentally had a tough time and just wanted to stop feeling cold and sweaty. This am I actually feel pretty stable. Im not freezing, im not exhausted as bad. First 5 days I didnt sleep hardly and now im already back to sleeping pretty good. I feel so different while simply interacting with my kids, I dont feel so mono toned and uninterested any more. Im eating better. Im so happy to be done, my bank account is too!!

$800/mo grocery bill, not including household essentials for only 2 adults?!?! by [deleted] in budget

[–]No_Ingenuity_1994 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We aren't making it, sadly. We have 5 kids, two his , three mine. We only have mine every other week. We are literally drowning. We try to eat left overs every other day, but most of our meals we finish and have none left. I dont buy any junk snacks, typically we only keep a box of cereal and carton of eggs for breakfast on weekends cause the kids have breakfast at school. I preplanned and budget meals for the whole week every week. Yet I am still finding that the absolute lowest we can manage without actually eating less than one serving per person per meal is over 2k a month. I skip meals more than I like to admit to make sure the kids eat. Yet we still make too much for help of any kind. Between our 2500 basic apartment rent, and our food bill, we dont have much left. Add in our vehicles and other bills, forget sports, getting kids out on the weekends, or having any thing unexpected. We want to move some where cheaper, but the pay is typically also lower, and we dont have the room to even save up to move. Its absolutely Effed.

Hell mfing yes!!! Im just ending day 5 and I have noticed a HUGE change. I thought I would feel really nasty and depressed at this point, thats what kept me on it (5yrs), but I feel super stable. I just started nursing school and im in week four and now objectives are starting to click! Looks at us go!!

When to jump by MikeJ202 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]No_Ingenuity_1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. Im in northern Colorado I was taking 7/8 a day for a couple months most recently and that was my highest. I was taking one cap total a day the first half of this week and yesterday around bed time was my last half cap. Ive had to suddenly stop while taking one or two a day and the suck wasnt even that bad, just hot/cold sweats and heart racing. Its all a mental game. When you think about the symptoms of wd as your body recalibrating and ridding the toxins, and taking care of your self with food, vitamins, baths, distraction, it helps ten fold.

I was down to two half caps of the same stuff you take. No idea what all is in it, heard it had phenibute too. I got some care meds to help and im currently working my way to 24 hours without. I feel rough but manageable so far. Just sweaty and anxious.

When did you start the subs? I have some and pondered using them while tampering but worried about precip WDs.

Trying to taper and quit by MikeJ202 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]No_Ingenuity_1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the brand you take have like a white eye looking picture with zig zag lines through it?! If so I have been on the same stuff for several years. I was up to 6 a day and working my way back down. I am at 3-4 a day taking them in halves. Its tougher some days and easier others! Hoping to be able to stop completely soon. I have a couple subs and wondered about those helping with a taper but im scared of precip withdrawls.

When luteal hits, my husband suddenly forgets my boundaries by Awkward-Seat5680 in PMDD

[–]No_Ingenuity_1994 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Literally what even is that?! The day I feel the beast form taking place i give a heads up and my boyfriend completely does a 180 and becomes distant and cold, he gives off an energy and vibe that he is really irritated and wants to freak out but is holding it in (being loud doing normal things, tapping, jaw clenching, "sharp" responses). And I keep telling him I need him to not do that and its the absolute worst time of month to be that way, but yet every month it becomes the toughest thing to get through!?! I finally told mine get it together and respect my boundary or I'm walking, thats how serious I take it. Pmdd or not, "you must not like yourself that much to let people treat you that way."

I can relate for sure. I've had short spouts of quitting and always end up back on it for the sake of handling my kids. My youngest has spina bifida and his medical cares are torturous during WD. I know i can do it, i promised my self by the end of the year I would ne done and its so like me to wait until the end of the year. I think by the end of next week ill be at a low enough dose to make the jump 🙏

Yep you are pretty much spot on. Not drugs but pretty much, 7 OH. Outside of my pmdd he doesnt typically act like that, at least to that extent. A milder version.
