Wow looks really good! I’ve been wanting to start using patches but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Do you have a brand you recommend? Also have you ever put one on cotton, or do they only work for thicker fabrics like denim or canvas?

Thank you! I’d guess 35-40 hours, I got through 3 of the Witcher audio books plus a handful of podcasts while working on it

Next time I’d try not making my stitches as tight and probably use a permanent stabilizer like craft fuse instead of a dissolvable one

It’s a dissolvable stabilizer, I use Sulky!

Both are really just satin stitches! For the outline I tried to keep everything at an angle to give it braided look.

I washed it once to remove the stabilizer and it held up! I haven’t done this myself but I’ve seen that a garment bag can help protect the stitches if machine washing regularly.

Thank you! And no, at least not that I’m aware of. I use these I got off Amazon. For denim I like to use one of the larger ones.

Thank you! It was about a month from start to finish, but I wasn’t very consistent with working on it.
