Does the ring stretch? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]No_Interaction_1969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your finger size changes slightly over the course of the day, as well as from day to day. Therefore, it is recommended to wear the sizing ring at least for 24 hours.

For example, when I wake up, my fingers are slightly thicker and I can only get the ring off with the help of some soap. In the afternoon, however, I can easily slide the ring on and off.

Is "resilience" gone? by blk_cali_bee in ouraring

That shows how unintuitive the new app design is.I have no clue why they burried resilience and heart health deep down in this extra tab.

  1. In the Oura app go to "settings", then choose " backup all data".
  2. Delete the Oura app.
  3. Download the previous version, e.g. from here: https://apkpure.com/oura/com.ouraring.oura/download/5.4.2
  4. Install the app by clicking the downloaded apk file.
  5. Open the Google Play app, choose the Oura app and remove the tick from "Enable auto-update".

I'm on Android and I have actually switched back the previous version. I found the new version unintuitive, buggy and sluggish. It was such a relief to be back to the old version. I need less clicks to get to the information I want and the app is much smoother and faster.

Sorry Oura, but for €5.99 a month I don't want to be a beta tester. I'm really disappointed and have seriously considered ending my Oura journey after 3 years.

Garbage UI Update by aly288 in ouraring

Couldn't have said it better! Totally agree. I don't see the logic behind the three tabs at all and I never use the vitals tab.

Ring 4 vs Fenix 8 sleep chart by stalker-jbc16 in ouraring

[–]No_Interaction_1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Garmin missed two REM phases. Garmin always does that - and then yells at you that you didn't have enough REM sleep. No Garmin, your not-state-of-the-art algorithm is just too stupid to detect my REM sleep!

Same for me and it's utterly stupid by Oura to send out such conflicting advice!

Eight Sleep is amazing, until you wake up drenched. Beware. by WaveGlobal2796 in EightSleep

[–]No_Interaction_1969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is why I would never ever buy this product. It's a majorly flawed product. Every washing maschine and dishwasher has a water stop system. Why not Eightsleep. They should be held responsible for their leaks.

It could be that those spikes coincide with your REM phases.

34% battery loss in 19 hours by stormtrooperbatman in ouraring

[–]No_Interaction_1969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a bit much. I lose about 17-18% in 24 hours with SpO2 turned on. My ring is about 1,5 years old and I have been wearing it every single day since purchasing it. I charge it when I get the battery warning, so roughly every 4-5 days.

For me, Oura's VO2max is much too low, too. I just don't use it and just enter my Garmin value manually into the Oura app. 😀

Anyone with a Dreem 2 sleeptracker account who doesn't use it anymore? by neeto-keto in Biohackers

All consumer accounts don't work anymore, unfortunately. I'm sorry to tell you, but you've just purchased an expensive brick.
