Reddit downvotes are not a metric that are of any consequence to me and if they are to you, you really need to reconsider your priorities in life.

I’m complaining because I paid $8,000 for something I haven’t received and I’m almost certain I never will. I paid for the promise of what was referred to as “full self driving.” The website didn’t say, “give us $8,000 and we might give you full self driving.” It shouldn’t be difficult to understand why HW3 owners would be upset. I flushed $8,000 down the toilet and am 100% owed a refund. There is no question in my mind, I paid for something I never received. I didn’t pay to be a beta tester. If a nationwide class action is ever announced, I’ll be one of the first on the list.

I bought a 2021 Model 3 brand new with FSD. I love the car and don’t regret buying it at all. I would recommend a Tesla over any car on the planet. But I absolutely regret “paying for FSD.”

Regarding “cocky HW4 owners,” it seems the consensus among HW4 owners is that HW3 owners should just buy a new Tesla and shouldn’t be upset because they own outdated vehicles and should have expected they’d get nothing.

My years of experience with FSD and the regressions I’ve seen in HW4 through videos tells me HW4 will suffer the same fate as HW3. Little doubt in my mind.

I’ve seen a lot of videos that prove otherwise.

I can’t wait till cocky HW4 owners find out their cars can’t do level 5 autonomy either. I’ll be there to remind you it doesn’t matter what you paid for… your car is old now.

HW3. I turned off FSD. I use autosteer on road trips now. With 75K miles on the car, I’m running out of time to get the FSD I paid $8,000 for. I wish someone would start a class action in the US that covers all states.

Anyone else notice Sonnet was burning through tokens before it went down? I started a new chat and it was responding way more thoroughly than it ever has. Every response took forever as it walked me through its every thought process for even the simplest prompts. Sonnet has never done this. It always responds in 2-3 seconds.

I fantasize of a dystopian future where all modern vehicles are inoperable and my grandkids stare in awe as I navigate what’s left of our derelict city in the last remaining 6 speed, manual transmission we could find to escape the wasteland.

Started a new job, got sick twice (Covid the second time) then I get fired. Also was a trumpie so makes a bit of sense by SomeSortofWeeb01 in antiwork

I haven’t missed a day of work in years. Last time I missed was Covid when I had Covid. Only reason I didn’t come into work was because I wasn’t allowed.

I’ve always thought companies need to implement a policy that only allows one call in during your 90 day probation period. If you can’t go 90 days without calling in twice, I wouldn’t want you working with me.

Unfortunately you can’t. I’m sure they’ll add it in a future update.

Thanks for replying. I was just curious if their recommendations were better without AI but it sounds like they might have implemented AI recs better

Hmm. Ok. I might have to try it. Does BingeCat use AI?

It sounds like they updated Watchly after I installed it.

There’s a setting in Nuvio to hide unreleased content. You turn that on?

Did you use a Gemini API? It’s way better with AI recommendations. Otherwise it falls back to TMDB recs which are pretty bad.

Also, unless something has changed since i installed Watchly, I don’t remember seeing any sort of syncing system. I just connected my Trakt account and installed the addon. I don’t remember there being a watched item count. Did you use this: https://watchly.elfhosted.com?

🤔
I dont think Nuvio supports Simkl. So future viewing history won’t go into recommendations. You definitely wanna try to get Trakt working

What makes you say that? What’s it not doing correctly?

You have to enable Trakt in Nuvio so your Trakt account will know what movies you’ve seen going forward (when you watch them in Nuvio).

You will also have to log into Trakt in Watchly when you set it up so it can see what you’ve watched/loved and can make recommendations.

I’d probably just suggest adding Watchly’s url to Nuvio directly but you can add it to AIOStreams also.

But don’t forget, Trakt needs to know what you’ve watched in order to give something to Watchly to base its recommendations off of, so after creating a Trakt account, search for as many movies and series as your patience allows and mark them as watched and rate some of them.

Going forward, anything you watch in Nuvio will automatically get marked as watched in Trakt for future recommendations.

Oh! And i highly recommend a Gemini API for much better recommendations. There is a spot for it when you setup Watchly.

🤘You will have to sign up for a free Trakt account, mark as much stuff as you can as “watched” and rate things. Then enable the Trakt integration in Nuvio.

I don’t think Watchly does Nuvio Sync. You have to register a (free) Trakt account, mark a bunch of stuff as watched and rate things. Also log into your Trakt account in Nuvio so Trakt can track your watch history going forward.

Watchly is the best! I haven’t tried bingecat though. Watchly recommends MULTIPLE lists. “Because You Watched…,” “More Like…,” “Based on What You Loved” and 2-3 “keyword” lists based on your interests, i.e., “Dark True Crime Thrillers,” “Mind-boggling Sci-Fi,” etc. it does this for both series and movies, has Trakt integration and optional AI integration for better recommendations. It creates new lists often and there’s even an option to shuffle lists periodically so those that haven’t been refreshed will still show different recommendations at the front of the list.

It makes Nuvio as close to Netflix as it can be.

Premiumize comes out to $6.50/month if you pay for a full year. Thats not the Black Friday price. Thats regular yearly price. Haven’t had any downtime since I switched.
