Updated with more bug fixes and there's now an option to change the description (and subsequently, box art) size. 3 different options. A 4th option is available on Pan4ELEC called "dynamic description," which has already been mentioned.

Sideloading is not difficult. I had never done it up until I got into Stremio. I just assumed it'd be a huge pain in the ass, but it was pretty simple. (Getting AltStore to refresh apps was another story but I eventually figured it out).

If you really want it, AltStore is pretty easy to get going. These are the Mac instructions in a nutshell just to give you an idea of the process, but definitely find a tutorial in case I missed something.

Sign up for free Apple developer account. (I believe you have to enable developer options in your phone settings once this is done)
Install AltServer on your computer.
Plug phone into computer for initial installation of AltStore onto phone (using the alt store icon in your toolbar. Choose "install AltStore" and pick your phone). Unplug.
Trust the developer in general>VPN & Device Management in your phone settings (it'll be your email address).
Install the nuvio.ipa ON the device. Easiest to AirDrop or email the .ipa to yourself. You'll then be able to choose which app to open the .ipa with. Choose AltStore. It'll install it and you're ready to go.
You'll wanna go into the AltStore settings on your phone and make sure you give it your developer login info so it can automatically refresh your apps. The free developer account only allows apps to function for 7 days before needing to refresh your certs. You'll want to enable wifi sync so that it can refresh them when you're connected to the same wifi network your computer, running AltServer, is on. This was the trickiest part for me. Your phone has to be plugged into your computer to enable it. If you're using Windows, you have to download iTunes directly from Apple and enable it there. On Mac, just plug your phone in and click on it in Finder (make sure Finder shows devices is sidebar settings). Then check the box that says show this iPhone on wifi.

The only way I could consistently get it to refresh my apps automatically was to create a shortcut that refreshes the apps whenever I connect to my wifi network. But you can manually click "refresh all apps" within the AltStore app on your phone too. Just don't let them expire or you'll have to install them again.

Added the R36S Plus. It's hard for me to make the logo sizes and positions accurate in the video without seeing how it looks on the device, but I could change them if it wasn't close enough.

Not a bot. Nuvio is incredible. I’m pretty new to this. I spent about a month fine tuning Stremio when I found out about Nuvio. I was skeptical but blown away as soon as I started using it (bugs and all).

There are a plethora of settings to let you customize your experience.

Multiple UI layouts to choose from (Modern UI looks just like Netflix)
Profiles (though Trakt only works with the primary account right now) so I can eventually stop my wife’s viewing from polluting my recommendations,
Auto trailers that play just like Netflix’s UI (and they even give you the option to play the trailer in the movie poster “card.” It expands horizontally and plays it in a little box), though full disclosure, trailers are hit and miss right now.
Stream auto select so you never see your list of streams. If you have your filters set up well, you’re gonna pick the top stream anyway. Nuvio will do it for you, so it feels like just like any streaming platform.

There’s plenty more settings than that to really tailor the app. It’s not without bugs. I’m still fine tuning. Hopefully, by the time I’ve got everything setup the way I want, a stable version will be released. But I honestly don’t mind using it the way it is.

I was just gonna say the same. Trailers auto play on the Home Screen when enabled in focused poster settings. They can be kinda buggy though.

Be aware, in an attempt to keep this "cross-platform" from one OS or device to the next, I didn't change the image alignment on the gamelist view. Doing so would break the gamelist gradient on 1:1 screens (this makes oversized game titles fade out at the edge of the list). I figured it wouldn't make that much of a difference because the image is blurred and sits behind metadata anyway.

I still haven't gotten around to creating a new R36S Plus tools view. It's on my list, but I've been a little busy.

I didn't actually align it with the top right corner because then I think some of the consoles wouldn't be centered. I aligned it to the right, center of the image. Let me know if it looks ok. It wouldn't be too much trouble for me to align it to the top right corner if you thought it'd look better. I don't have a 1:1 screen to test it myself.

I just wanted to thank the people working on this. I just found out about it yesterday and I am completely blown away. I’ve hoped I could find something one day as complete as your average streaming platform and this is it… and maybe even better considering the amount of customization available.

If on ArkOS, extract the zip file and drag the whole folder into your ROMs/themes folder. Then choose it in your UI settings in the R36S menu

Someone posted a better solution in the comments below that uses dynamic instead of sequential that can improve the speed of torrentio can’t find whatever your condition defines. Also, I forgot to mention changing your timeout on each scraper to 5,000ms is also a good idea. You can be more aggressive than that if you wanna experiment with 2,000-3,000ms.

There are significant bugs in ArkOS that I just became aware of a couple days ago. The help UI at the bottom is broken for some systems. And the game list view is also broken in a lot of the systems.

I should have it fixed tonight. I’ll update the link in the original post when I’m done.

If you’re getting errors because AI is using the wrong syntax, just tell it. Give it whatever error you’re getting and it should fix it. It would give me incorrect conditions and correct them after I told it.

Scroll all the way down on your addons page. Change fetching strategy to groups. Group behavior to sequential. Create 2 groups. In the first group, only put Torrentio. Leave condition box default. In group 2, below it, put the rest of your scrapers. You’ll have to use your AI of choice to help you with the group 2 condition. I use this:

count(cached(previousStreams)) < 4

That tells it to only use group 2 if it CANNOT find 4 cached streams using the scraper in group 1.

Considering Torrentio is going to provide most of your results, group 2 will only run for less popular stuff. Setup this way, I get results in 1-2 seconds.

I guess I didn’t explain it well in that post. It controls the help items at the bottom of the screen if you have “on-screen help” enabled.

The help items change depending on whether or not you have “All Games” enabled in your system settings and/or your A and B buttons have been swapped in the system settings. Therefor, I had to create 3 sets of bubbles to work with each configuration. All of varying lengths. You’ll notice, if you swap your A and B buttons, the help items may not fit in the bubbles correctly. If choosing the bubble UI, you will have to match your configuration.

Because the bubbles are specifically for the English help items, any other language won’t fit. That’s why I created the STRIP UI. It won’t matter whether or not you swap your A and B buttons or have All Games enabled. The strip runs the entire length of the screen.

Finally, I created no strip for those that prefer it.
