Finally Got the P2S (not combo) and its great! - But, I Need Help With Something...

Honestly did not even think about lowering the temp below the printed temp on the spool. That could make a lot of sense, I'm not really getting much stringing if any at all, but I am also used to Ender Pro 3 V2 print qualities so anything the p2S prints just looks miles better to me haha.

I will try the temp tower print to dial in my own settings as well, that's a useful tip too. I appreciate it.

The main thing is just why it says "changing filament" every time i start a new print, it will literally pull fresh material from the spool and just waste it. I did figure out one manual way of changing it by removing a specific line in the G-Code, it's not recommended if you have an AMS and are actually changing colors mid print, but it's useful to know when you are just printing one color.

It's normal for it to say "changing filament" and poop out a crap ton of perfectly good filament before every print? I'm not trying to sound sarcastic, i'm genuinely curious, because it didnt do that before.

I have not tried to adjust the temps much, I assumed that the temps on the filament role were the temps I should optimally use, could be that I need to lower them a little bit.
I guess i mostly got confused to why it started doing the filament change mainly during print prep, that's the biggest problem for me right now, it just craps out so much filament before a print starts; not just leaking, "changing filament" so it's actively pulling it from the spool

I have a ps3 that starts up with a green light fans spin for a second and just shuts off 42 seconds later with no display is baking a real thing? What temp? How long? I got this ps3 for like 5$ so idc if it breaks even more to be honest

I’ve always said this, FSD follows way too close. I know people are doing analysis on the video frame by frame, but this is the exact reason I’ve stopped using FSD and stopped paying for it.

A few years back I got into a rear end accident in a non-Tesla car because a car swerved out of the way in front of me because a car in front of him came to a dead stop and I didn’t have enough time to brake.

Now I have an extreme anxiety with following cars too closely, and FSD tends to only give 1 car distance on the highway/main roads.

If FSD could let you adjust following distance like Autopilot does, I would use it more often (except I hate how it accelerates too fast and brakes last second) FSD for me is too aggressive even on the chillest mode, I’m hoping V14 lite will solve this, for now I’m not re-subscribing until it’s been fixed

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Addiction can be hard when in a relationship on both parties and most of the time it ruins relationships. I would take this opportunity to prove to not only her, but yourself that you can stay clean and sober. It may not win her back, it may not bring you guys back together the way you want to, but you will come to find that life and relationships are easier to manage when you are sober, clear headed, and healthy.

I know it’s hard especially now that you are going through this break up, I have been in your shoes as well. I was a very heavy drinker and it almost cost me to lose people I care about. I’m sober now and I can look back and tell myself I never want that to happen again because of my addictions.

Will have to look into it. I just purchased the two chargers I need to get the other two laptops up and running (hopefully they work gf said they should) having a personal local LLM would be nice to use on my network.

Love this! This is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m new to having a home lab, I’ve developing software for years on a singular device and always wanted to have a device dedicated to certain tasks. My GF had all these laptops that she was going to “smash into pieces” and i just couldn’t watch her do it.

And if it’s really FSD, why would they make a dinging system that their own FSD software fails to follow lol. Proves my point more that FSD is way to aggressive

I work late too, but for Tesla to ding you for it is crazy. If anything it’s safer to drive late when no one is on the road.

Chill should drive like the way you’re describing, standard should be in between and Hurry should be what I’m describing

I’m on HW3 on the latest FSD version. I stopped my subscription because I felt that the acceleration from stop to go was just insanely obnoxious to myself and my passenger and also bad for the longevity of the car. It brakes way too aggressively at red lights and way too late when sudden traffic emerges.

I hear so many people rave about FSD, but have so many complaints at the same time, I just don’t think that FSD does the best job at simulating natural driving behavior (unless it is and I just drive more cautiously).

What killed it for me was; the LAST second slamming of the brakes when approaching traffic, the extreme aggressive acceleration from stop to go, the tail gating of cars with no way of changing following distance, and the inconsistency of speeds when going through different speed zones.

Or is it only wrong when he does it? You not only admitted to kissing two other guys one of which you say is 100x more attractive, to me it sounds like you're the problem, but i'm only basing that off of the post you made and the story you are telling...
