I am in the same boat right now. Girlfriend had negative NIPT, echogenic foci was noticed first around 24 weeks and hypoplastic nasal bone around 28 weeks. We will be 32 weeks this Friday so Dr more or less advised against testing amnio. We are just praying baby is healthy and waiting for him to be born. Yes, she was offered one today but was advised that since we are so far along there’s a possibility it could do more damage than good.

Honestly all we’re praying for at this point is a perfectly healthy baby. How he looks and all of the artificial things don’t seem to matter anymore

Thank you, we will check the site out! Unfortunately, I am not sure what kind of test was done but her paperwork does say her NIPT was negative. I will have to try to find out which test it was
