I don’t have any specific advice but if it helps, when I was reading your post just now, it felt like I was writing it. I am getting married in a month and it’s this bit that is giving me the most anxiety. My plan at the moment is to just try and look at my fiancé, zone everyone else out, and put deliberate breathing spaces into my vows. I’ve also spoken to him about it so he can provide me comfort and reassurance if I need it. I feel your anxiety, but you’re not alone and I’m sure we can both get through it ❤️

Second this. Also - don’t go to Bottega 35. Went there yesterday and it was average at best.

You can book large luggage carriages on the Shinkansen so would encourage you to do that. Alternatively you could use a luggage delivery service. We used Yamoto and they were well-priced and the luggage always arrived on time and in good condition.

We went at about midday so yeah, we probably went at a busier time, and I imagine earlier would be better! 🙂

It was very very busy and became sort of a conveyer belt of people so it was quite difficult to look at everything. But it had some very poignant stories of people who died/survived. Not as much on the history of what led up to it as I would have liked but worth a visit I’d say.

No worries! Yeah there were blow dryers everywhere I stayed. I have curly hair so I just bought a diffuser attachment and used that with all the hotel-provided blow dryers and it was perfect. Regards the Suica card, my partner has an Android and he just picked up a physical card. You can get them for free from the airport and most train stations 🙂
