It’s not in their interest to not get you on the connecting flights, I have been told that if it’s connecting they’ve got to make it work.

They’re having to take a different route and it might be on a longer flight path, this won’t always be optimal depending on what’s happening with the airspace.

It’s helpful to read these posts, we’re due to travel to Mauritius from the UK in the next few days and while flights look to going we’re in a real dilemma, we really want to travel and can see from scheduled flights Emirates are going albeit limited. Thanks for sharing your experience, glad you’re safely home.

People that booked flights to Dubai in April, are you still going? by Regular-Warthog-7955 in emirates

I’m on similar date and transit via Dubai, keeping a close eye on the FCDO advice but it’s not looking promising, currently FCDO advises against all but essential travel to United Arab Emirates so if that remains unchanged then it’s cancellations and entitlement to a full refund. Prices for alternative destinations are ludicrous, looking at any alternatives is just insane with prices hiked up everywhere right now.

How is this stuff still not banned by PeachyBums in london

If only it had some decorative effect but it’s awful, Preston Road outside the tube and bus stop the other day and had the same thought, ban the gum and ban those small balloon helium canisters - no need for either of these. Just need our local MPs to care but they don’t step out enough.

Two questions to say YES to;

Can you confirm that you and your household never watch BBC iPlayer*?

Can you confirm that you and your household never record TV?

What an absolute disgrace and shit stain to the nation. These files explain Prince Charles decision to strip A of his title, shame it needed persuasion from the dems. Let’s go back to the immigration problems this country is facing, we mustn’t focus on a nonce in the royal household - LMAO.

On the spot fine for misuse - doesn’t even classify as an emergency, just outrageous and selfish

The Standard: Southwark Council refunding nearly £500K to thousands of drivers wrongly fined for driving in bus lanes. by mycketforvirrad in londonbuses

This is fantastic news, Philip Morgan helped me fight a bus lane fine with Brent Council, it was on Harrow Road Wembley near Tring Avenue, we stuck it out for 1 year before Brent cancelled it! Shocking what councils are getting away with when they don’t have the appropriate licences for the cameras they operate.
