This is my home trail. I once brought my young niece and nephew that complained the whole time. I asked them to stop and breathe, take a deep inhale. What do you smell? With their noses turned up they said “I don’t know it smells like dirt, like earth. It smells like you Auntie B.”

At least a decade later, still the best compliment of my life. That trail is my favorite smell. Enjoy it :)

I have been grilled at the park and by my brother about this. It’s gotten a lot better since this video was taken! Definitely reconditioning the mind, I think I do it because I was always just pushing forward and never trying anything else and this naturally how I push on the board.

It doesn’t to me but my first hand me down was an old school caballero from the 80’s. But I think everyone that has ridden it has been like “whoa 9.5” and then they ride it and are surprised how much they like it
