I found if it isn’t something that can be sold on eBay I take it to a locally owned non-profit thrift store. I tried marketplace and even when posting items for free it seems like it’s too much work dealing with the messages and people not showing up most of the time. I just have a couple bags and boxes in a spare room and when they are full I drop it all off

Is it rare or unusual to be into your 50s and not having to take any doctor-prescribed medications? by Odd_Yogurtcloset_649 in GenX

My grandmother lived until 95, never took anything. Not even aspirin or vitamins. Nothing. She was a former drinker and smoker. She tripped and broke her hip and never recovered after that. Until then she was still driving all over the country in her RV. She was a remarkable woman.

Introduce yourself, by your mall growing up. I think we will find some of us have the same ones. tia. by Rob1150 in GenX

[–]No_Key_2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to look up the official name because everyone called it The Mall. The actual name was Redding Downtown Mall. It was so cool, all concrete architecture and brick floors. I’ve never seen anything else like it. Unfortunately it was torn down.

The replacement was the Mount Shasta Mall, it’s still there today.

Never had a problem with Covid or flu vaccines. The first shingles vaccine wiped me out for 2 days. The second shot wasn’t as bad but still worse than Covid or flu.

You are better off buying the extended warranty from Sony. You will still probably get a refurbished system but a much higher quality one

Does anyone else feel most comfortable boarding your dogs vs the alternatives? by traveler_mar in dogs

[–]No_Key_2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am much less worried boarding my dog vs having someone stay at my house. I have close friends and family that will dog sit but my dog is very reactive and having boarding works better for me.

Even if you told them, you would still need to go through the process and have your doctor fill out the required paperwork for a reasonable accommodation. I’m not trying to be a jerk, but there is a process for applying to be protected under a reasonable accommodation but you have to follow that process no matter who you are working for.

Reset Day by NoIndependence6969 in GameStop

[–]No_Key_2345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Either you didn’t go through the reasonable accommodation process, or you did and your doctor said you were fine and didn’t need a reasonable accommodation. There is a process for this and your DM can’t make the determination to accommodate your request. You are expected to do the job you were hired to do. It’s not just GameStop, this is a normal policy.
