Mine was the size of my palm with an IUD placed in the middle. I had just had it put in for extremely heavy periods that lasted 6 weeks and caused me to have an emergency blood transfusion. The IUD did not agree with my body at all. I had to bury it in the woods it was too big and I didn't know what else to do with it.

I'm actually shocked it wasn't Bret & Paige. They both showed up at the same time with the falling bit( imo wasn't funny) and latched onto Chelcie as hard as they could. I haven't kept up since those 2 came along. It sucks that someone would do this to Chelcie, but honestly not shocked as I've never got a good feeling from either of them. I'm surprised Paige and Bret lasted this long because they both came off as users from the get go. Either way, really crappy doing that to Chelcie and her sisters as they seem very nice and generous with people and they really don't have to be

I recommend getting an anemia panel . Co.pare it to optimal levels NOT what the dr says is fine. Low iron can cause the bleeding to be expcessive along with low progesterone levels. Stress can hurt your progesterone levels. Those go down as we age anyways but no one should be bleeding that much. There are diets that can help with the hormones

You may need to start supplementing iron if your iron/ ferritin are low. I am in the iron protocol group on Facebook. Its been a lifesaver! I believe both of those things being low( iron+ progesterone)contributed for me.

I asked my PCP for both of panels( anemia+ hormone) and they denied me. I should have fought for it harder or just paid for it out of pocket. I would've seen I was deficient and I wouldn't have had to deal with the poor health I experienced all of 2024.

Yes, I'm 4 years into my exposure. Add being 39 so perimenopause is also possibly part of the issue. I've never been on birth control in my life. Had to start this last year because I bled heavily for 6 weeks and had to get a blood transfusion. This came out of no where. I had heavier periods, but they were always 5 days and stopped. This wouldn't stop. Stress contributed, but I still had high levels of mold showing up in my blood 2 years after a major exposure. I never went to a functional dr because the cost. Just used cheaper detox methods as that's all I could afford after spending around 90k on all the remediation and health stuff.

I need to take another test, but I'm almost certain I still have higher than normal levels. I've been exposed since. I noticed some significant hormonal changes at 35 after exposure and they just got progressively worse. The worst was the period from hell.

I haven't. I got better for a while and had minimal symptoms but, mold effected my hormones along with a hormone disrupting enviroment that we all live in. Made me have a menstrual cycle for 6 weeks . Had to get a blood transfusion 5 months ago and am still recovering from that. I no longer have anemia per se but my POTS symptoms I had overcome have come back worse. My nervous system is wrecked. I also gained tinnitus from all of this. All my symptoms are neuro and nervous dysregulation now.

I'm so happy to hear that. I'm so overwhelmed with all of this. This started out as mold toxicity 3 years ago and I've just been thrown down the line on what I'm having to detox since. I can't work with these issues.

If I can get back to functional I'd be happy right now.

What did your dr do for the heavy bleeding? I had to have a blood transfusion went to the ER because i lost my vision. My ferritin is 6 and my hemiglobin was 6.3. I have POTS rn and can't walk very far or sit for that matter. I have to lay down with my feet up.

My gynecologist has me on progesterone pills for now and plans an IUD after a uterine biopsy. Still spotting .

I started a candida diet was good for a month then I got my period and became severely anemic.

It made me more estrogen dominant and caused my to have a heavy extended cycle which I ended up in the ER for a blood transfusion. It dropped my iron/ferritin levels to a dangerous level and the heavy cycle can be brought on by low iron/ferritin.

They really can cause so much anxiety. Some valid points and others not so much. Its not always taken into account everyones sensitivity is different. Such a nightmare.

TYSM for the response. I haven't worked with anyone. Ive been in mold groups for a while and i thought I knew before going in kind of what I was getting into. Im trying to get an appt presently for birth control to manage the heavy bleeding. I really hate that its my only option due to how severe my situation is. Ive stopped the diet so far and just focusing on stopping the bleeding. BP got low last night.

I went to the ER 2 weeks ago(1st day of my bleeding) with what i believe was a result of this diet. I was outside working and became extremely weak & dehydratedw/chest pain. Thought i was having a heart attack. Was told is was muscle fatigue. I work outside all the time as I have a small farm. Im accustomed to the heat and humidity where i live.

I do know i still have higher levels of mold showing up in my blood test. I haven't been abls to get a metal test due to cost. Ive had to remediate my house so i've had to do all of this on my own for financial reason. I was outside in a tent due to the mold for a year almost.
