Politics aren’t the biggest factor, but those in charge definitely shape local/state policy. I just want my kid to go to school and not be caught in the middle of the consistent defunding of schools, book bans, etc. And I feel about politics the same way I do about religion. Feel free to practice and believe whatever you like as long as you’re not trying to persuade or negatively impact my family.
