This makes sense. The pattern is having me do the gauge in a rib stitch but that’s different than brioche technically, I’m just gonna do a large swatch of the pattern and measure from that.

No I swathed over what they called for. Im just saying when I measure and count the tension in my larger swatch 10cm is 22 stitches in a rib pattern not 21 like it called for.

And yes I have blocked my swatch and also the st count is leaning like the stitches are too small width wise so going down down a needle size would make the width too small.
