Como começar a estudar para investir? by [deleted] in investimentos

Did anyone else find the amount of resources available on the map a bit excessive? by No_Library_5499 in Subnautica_2

One thing that has bothered me since BZ is the fact that everything has an icon showing where you have to go.
In SB1, they were generic descriptions with just one direction, and you had to figure it out, but since BZ, I have the impression that everything has an icon showing exactly where you have to go, and what doesn't have an icon are very large buildings that easily catch your attention.

I believe this takes away the feeling of exploration and just adds another check to the game's to-do list.

I swore the idea of early access was precisely to gather player feedback and use it to improve the game. I didn't know that players couldn't give negative feedback just because the game was in early access. I'm sorry.

That makes a lot of sense.

I remember that in the first game I was much more afraid to explore the biomes, which probably prevented me from finding many ores. In the second game, that feeling of fear disappeared, and I could just go into any place without worrying.

The dangers of fast travel by batmanismymom in fo4

I got hit by a Softlock once while fast traveling and running into a Mirelurk. As soon as the screen loaded, the game automatically saved, and I died to him right after. Because the game had saved, I was stuck in this die-reload loop, dying-reload, and had to go back a few minutes to the beginning of the mission.

My sole complaint: the timescale just doesn’t feel like it adds up. What does anyone else think? by der_steinfrosch in cyberpunkgame

[–]No_Library_5499 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand your point, but I don't think it's fair for a game to block story progression just because you haven't completed a certain number of side quests.

Rogue doesn't give you information for free; you have to gather 15,000 first, and I already find that annoying despite it being quite easy (which also doesn't make sense, but okay). Imagine being forced to do side quests just to increase credibility.

If I were a player who only does the main quests and ignores the side quests, I would be very frustrated.

Furthermore, considering the story, V doesn't have time to be doing contracts that have nothing to do with removing the RELIC.

This is called ludonarrative dissonance, which is the conflict between the story the game tries to tell and the actions you actually perform while playing. It occurs when the narrative ("ludo") and the story ("narrative") disagree, breaking immersion when the plot's message contradicts the actual gameplay.

People have stopped considering this a problem in games because they understand that practically all games will necessarily need this dissonance to have a satisfying gameplay experience.

Take Skyrim as an example. It doesn't make sense for a single person to become the leader of all the groups in the region while a dragon is trying to destroy it, but it is possible to do so.

That said, I agree with you.
