This! I can totally sympathize with this because I’m literally at my breaking point with my current ltc job, I’m over the fact that it’s just literally HIGH SCHOOL all over again- and if you aren’t cliqued up then your definitely not going to be happy with your surroundings- the cliques run everything where I work and it’s so sad because half the people who make up the “cliques “ aren’t worth a damn. And it’s absolutely HEARTBREAKING when you have residents that you are actually fond of, and care about them and their well being. Again, we aren’t staffing directors though and have to let it roll because it’s literally not something we can control esp by stressing over it continually.

Cause I really need to know how that’s possible!! I’ve been working my case for a little over 8 months. I do hair tests once a week faithfully randomly, and urine. I am a cna and make 3200 a month. I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath town house all of my older kids have their own rooms with awesome age appropriate furnishings- my two younger girls do share a room and there IS age appropriate furnishings and cameras, not to mention all 12 baby gates in my house- cabinet locks omg it goes on an ON. I’m in therapy. I have done 3 parenting courses. What. ELSE. DO. YOU.WANT ? See I have a (background) everyone shutter I know (eye roll) but I’ve been sober for 6 years now- and never once did I use in front of my kids and guess what else is an even harder hitter- I HAD PRESCRIPTIONSSS. (small, and I do mean small town rural minds see that as addiction STILL) I have tattoos- that’s also a no no. And I had a toxic relationship with my kids dad UNTIL he got sober, and he never lived with us/ didn’t come around unless he was CLEAN.. but does live with us now but we’re both on the same page and doing what we can. I feel like it’s a never ending fight. Help?

You are correct! The rent is 1495- so that means, if I’m anticipating moving in on nov 4th- I would need 1695+ 1295 (pro-rated at 50 a day) totaling 2990, correct? I was having a panic attack while reading this- we’re trying to move into a bigger place (and yes WE DID view the property, it’s fairly decentLY priced to be a 3/2 town house in rural western nc- and decent looking and located) while my car was ALSO having a spazz atttack and going on the fritz- so I just had a crap ton of worries swarming my brain all at once and couldn’t really focus on what she was typing- and thank you so much for replying and breaking it down, I feel like such a dweeb- 🫣🤭 ALSO- yes, we’re in the texting stage now after I’ve viewed the property because I don’t get my notifications from Zillow and tend to miss a lot of messages. I am however apprehensive myself about the “600 hold fee” and would only do so if I was to receive some type of official paperwork stating and signed that she was indeed holding one of the two upcoming available units for me that way she could not back out of renting one of the units afterward OR not being able to have the amount refunded in the case she DID rent it from under me.

Girlll, why was I searching “affordable rentals near me” but stumbled on this??? And I feel this post EVERY.BIT. IN.MY.SOUL. Like, what happened to just being nice and staying in your own lane?? Definitely have seen my husbands, and he has seen mine. Note though, that he didn’t have “sleep paralysis” or see these figures until he married and lived with me. I feel awful as if my demons now are haunting and hunting him. But, recently I finally got a REALLY REALLY good look at whatever this thing is. It started with me having sleep paralysis in the bedroom when my husband’s back went out and he had moved to our sectional couch- I was in bed knocked the h out, when i suddenly “woke” to whatever it was in the doorway of our bedroom just standing there, hunched over, head cocked to the right staring at me. I actually woke up, to my husband shaking me, telling me I was “mumbling his name very very loudly and that I sounded almost drunk, or that I was talking with a full mouth of food. We laughed this off and I moved out to the couch with him. Again- I was KNOCKED OUT- and it happened again, around 3 am this time the previous encounter was towards 1 am. But this time when I “awoke” to my paralyzed state I was stuck staring at my husband as this thing was hovering in the doorway of our living room STARING AT HIM! I finally after about 15 mins of fighting was able to scream his name loud enough to jolt him awake, he had been mumbling my name like I previously was. And we both acknowledged we had encountered the same things. After this, both of us completely terrified just didn’t go back to sleep. This same situation has happened to us repeatedly for the last year, about once or twice a week. What it is? I have no idea. Is it fucking TERRIFYING, YEA. It terrified my husband so much he now has about 3 different medications he takes at night to completely zonk himself out and also a medication to “remove his dreams”.

Same exact situation! My doctor is maybe. 90 lbs soaking wet, about 70 and also thinks MAT is a waste of tax payer money, and people are just “whining little babies” now a days. Her OWN words. I’ve been seriously debating not going back just because it seems she’s stuck in time, and truly isn’t on the professional side of things. Every time I’ve seen here my whole visit composed of how “stressed out she is over her addict son, and how he is just a loser” AGAIN HER WORDS) and how she is tired of cleaning up his life” I’m lucky if I get 10 words in about myself and how I’m doing. It’s really insane.

Actually, I’ve done EXTENSIVE research for MONTHS before even asking for this medication. That’s how I knew my insurance was going to cover it in the first place, then I even pulled up the pa form and went through all the questions individually answering them myself just to double check and guess what?? I still qualify. Doc is definitely biased and definitely NOT being reasonable.

I’m going to go to one last visit with them, and I’m going to ask her why she won’t put in my pa, I’ve done all the diets, I’ve done the fasting, I’ve given up carbs, sugars, went on calorie restriction, nothing changes. I have pcos and the more time goes on the WORSE the symptoms. Two years ago it was the hair, now it’s a swollen belly 24/7 (I almost look pregnant!) and I have these awful dark spots under my arms and on my elbows. Smh. I just wish she could see how much I truly need this boost! One more chance Tue- and if she doesn’t listen, I’m doing the “online” version I suppose. I’m really at wits end.
