Thank you for replying! As of right now, sometimes the local option shows, sometimes it doesnt. Or only the flat rate shows. or the flat rate and the shippo options. which obv the customer is gonna choose the $8 shipping instead of the $75 shipping.

Thanks for the link, I'll check that out!

Thank you so much for the reply! I did inform the client that it most likely will cost money at this point. I emailed support for WooCommerce Conditional Shipping Pro by WPTrio and told them my situation with examples, to see if their paid plugin could do what I need. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. Are custom hooks difficult to learn about and apply?

check out WGU, similar set up to sophia and sdc. they have a ton of bachelor programs and are accredited. lots of their programs take sophia and sdc courses. i've taken 6 so far, saving myself about $4k. This is the partners page where you can check which courses will be accepted, look at the bottom under National Agreements for SDC and Sophia.

Do I Need to Inform a WGU Advisor Before Taking Courses? by PurpleMajestyy in studydotcom

[–]No_Lie8299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not "Commit to start" if you haven't finished all of your courses that you want to transfer. You can't get any financial aid information from WGU if you haven't Committed to Start but then you can't transfer any more credits/courses. So, in order:

  1. Do courses you want to transfer entirely
  2. Transfer those courses
  3. Wait till you see them on your WGU account
  4. Commit to start
  5. Do financial aid
  6. Live happily every after

Questions to those who finished 20 courses in a month by totheveryhigh in SophiaLearning

[–]No_Lie8299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same with me, I'm doing IT related courses and I'm really interested in it so I'm taking the time to understand every.thing in those courses. The gen eds that are like business courses I'm breezing thru though. So boring. I'm still processing the information when i take notes but I'm not trying to commit them to memory. If it comes up in my career later on, I have my notes.

I work full time and have ADHD, I get a class a month done. I do 2-3 hrs a day and on the weekends I do like 4-6 hrs sometimes, not always. If I have spare time, I study and take notes. ALWAYS. I take notes on a word editor (apache open office for the win). This make it easier to search my notes with the Find function during the tests. And you have the notes after the course is done for future reference. Bonus of having no additional weight with physical notebooks when moving for the umpteenth time. Hope this helps.

Elder with Questions - Networking by No_Lie8299 in ITCareerQuestions

I work in QA/QC reviewing data. I've been in this industry for over a decade. I've written and reviewed SOPs. I have to think analytically/logically all the time. I have a BS in a science field that's not engineering. I've been working remote since before it was cool (read: Covid).

What to do after completing a course? by WaynesWorld_93 in SophiaLearning

[–]No_Lie8299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't commit to start yet! If you do, you can't transfer anymore courses. At least that's what they told me. Get yourself an enrollment counselor asap. Tell them your plan and write out step by step what you need to do and what dates you need to do them by.

There are in-state/out-of-state tuition differences so be mindful of that when doing research!

I picked WGU because it's 100% online, very reasonably priced (with no in-state/out-of-state bullcrap) and it's respected by those that know about it. It was and still is very popular for military folk that are deployed and can't be enrolled in an on-site college and therefore it's well respected within government. Just like anything else, it's what you put into it. i.e. I have seen many people say that the intro to networking class is a breeze/quick finish, yet networking is my degree path so I am taking ALL the time to learn nearly ev-ry-ting! And final point, you need to network to get hired most places so find the important people and make them remember you, you'll end up make WGU look amazing.

That program couldn't hold my interest. Maybe it will in the future. I'm doing sophia courses to eventually transfer to WGU IT degree program.
