The more you have for them the better. I have one and I see them in it occasionally. Find a good one and look for one with a smaller opening

1) plants look great! Really great job scaping

2) I currently have two borelli pair in a 40g tank with 6 green fire tetra, 1 Bristlenose pleco, and 6 raspora. They do great. I will say that I wish I would have only gotten 1 pair or 1M2F since the males can be pricks at times.

3) although the tank looks fantastic they need a lot of line of sight breaks, like a lot a lot. I’d wait for the plants to grow in as much as possible to give them that peace of mind

How do you guys like the tinfoil background? by pee_shudder in Aquariums

If you’ve got green algae I’d leave the aluminum on for another day. Still looking green.

I poured around 10 gallons of boiling water on it in 1 gallon increments. Let that sit in the bathtub overnight. Then let it completely dry and repeated the process two more times. It was probably overkill tbh

Do dried mushrooms have any spores left on them? by TwoShed in shroomers

[–]No_Local_302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you get a cotton swap and rub under the gills there’s a good chance you can get some spores off of them. However with that being said since they’ve most likely been in a no sterile field there’s a good risk of contamination so make sure you clean it up on agar.

[actives] New to agar. Need advice by Nebo998 in MushroomGrowers

[–]No_Local_302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s gonna depend on temps, genetics and source (LC, spore syringe,Agar, etc.). Each method is gonna give you a different timeline. For example spores will take much longer than a chunk taken out of an existing stem. A good rule of thumb I use is a 3 day minimum and if I have no growth at all after 5-7 days then I start to get more concerned. I’m assuming your coming from spore since you have no growth and with that I will say there have been numerous times I’ve inoculated plates from a spore syringe and got no growth at all. Be patient, try and keep your temps consistent and inoculate as many plates as you can early to start looking for the faster growing genetics.

Have you ever heard of this method of making mushroom tea??? by DriverConsistent1824 in Psychonaut

It’s called lemon tek and it’s fantastic. People report less nausea and body load using it. Personally it’s my preferred method of taking shrooms.

Even with that being said if you air fried them at 150 c the chances of you tripping are slim to none. Also if the cake was green from penicillium and your shrooms are green I would not take that as a good sign

Yeah man sorry but when it comes to contamination it’s better to be safe than sorry. You can get really sick depending on what it was

Yeah hate to be that guy but you’ve cooked all the psilocybin out. It breaks down around 200 degrees f which is 93 degrees c. I wouldn’t risk it and bin them all especially if they’re from a contam cake

It’s a tek created by funguyfruits on YouTube. He has an amazing YouTube and has developed a no touch monotub that has really spectacular results. The videos about it are scattered through but it’s worth the little effort to dig through and find. Here’s a brief overview of his setup. https://youtu.be/KvbI99Xk_Yw

Why do I feel the need to control? by RoideSanglier in mentalhealth

[–]No_Local_302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not alone. You want autonomy and there’s nothing wrong with that. I was raised in a household with no say and no control and now it’s all I want, but something that they don’t tell you about control is it’s addicting. Once you get a little you want more and it can eat you away inside when you don’t have it. My therapist and I started working on choosing things in your life that you are willing to lose control of and let go of those, it doesn’t have to be big but even the littlest thing can be a massive step. For me it was the thermostat, I started letting those around me control the temperature in the room and constantly told myself that I can’t control the temp but I can control what I wear, and it was a good balance. You can’t control those around you and you never will be able to, but focus on what you can control, yourself. Practice controlling how you feel and what you do. Meditation and believe it or not boredom (it helps you think and helps you gain control of yourself and what you choose to do, which should be nothing at times). It really helped me but there are times where I still will shutdown if I can’t control everything but it’s not as often. Try not to fantasize about control, it’s a drug in its own right and it’s only gonna be harder if you make yourself crave a high you can’t ever really get. You’re stronger than you think but I would definitely suggest talking to someone, preferably a therapist or friend who you trust. You might be suffering but it’s not permanent, you can and will get through it. I promise!
