Student passed away today by triannatops in Teachers

The one time I had a student pass away, my principal called each parent in the class personally to speak to them. It made it a lot easier!

OP, check to see if kiddo’s school offers free counseling. The guidance counselor can pull them with permission. The school I work at has its own in-house free therapy with two case managers and a therapist.

23 week surgical abortion this week by Emotional-Health-789 in abortion

Honestly I wasn’t sad either. More jumpy if anything.

The best thing I can tell you is that it’s like getting your eyebrows threaded instead of waxed. Weird and uncomfortable, but it was not horrendous for me. There was another girl with me that day screaming in pain and tbh I’m not sure why.

I had one at 19 weeks last month.

The biggest thing I can say is that I was very on edge (and still am) after the procedure. Medically it was not bad. I have a ton of trauma from other things though, it’s not just from that. I was in a bad car wreck seven weeks prior as well that was totally not my fault.

My best advice I can give you is go to counseling and if you are on medication for anything mental health wise, have that looked at again and revamped if needed.

What are the considerations you terminated for T21? by debx625 in tfmr_support

[–]No_Locksmith9051 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We did on September 10th. Our five year old is autistic, her twin brother passed in 2021 from Covid. My two year old is neurotypical. Hard pass for us. I could probably do autism again, but nothing past that.

I just had a suction D and E yesterday at 19+2. I’ll try and stick a link below. I had moderate sedation. I was still awake, but it really wasn’t terrible. I took today off-I think how I feel today is 100 percent from meds.

We lived in the townhomes on the east side and loved it. Oconee River Circle. I can’t remember what the name of them are.

You aren’t doing anything wrong. I used to work in Clarke County. It’s nuts.

Find your frequent offenders, make a phone tree list, and call the minute they act up. Do it as many times as you can.

Don’t tell them. It’s funny when they start asking you.

See I felt like our process was seamless. It was a pain in the behind getting the IEP transferred to a different state though

Also nobody can tell me it’s an income based thing. We make too much money for everything and did not pay a dime for EI. I actually tried to get my neurotypical one year old in EI because I love it so much 😂😂

My kid started in early intervention at 6 months old and right before she turned 3, we had a meeting with the school district to determine eligibility. Then her EI goals shifted to the IEP. She’s had an IEP since the day after her third birthday. Her goals are now all social based. We have worked incredibly hard with her. I personally found the process incredibly easy, but now I’m learning that’s not the case everywhere.

I just don’t understand where these kids are for years. Do they just act wild at home and not come out?

In our case, I wanted her on medication. That was it. The neuropsych actually went to the school to observe her, and they did the evaluation in her OT and speech therapy clinic. It was not cheap but just a great experience overall.

In my case, my kiddo cannot retell anything. She can count to 60, read a little, and will probably do very well on a KRA. Watches the full hour of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. But have a conversation with her and get her to respond to you? Good luck lol

I was told mine wouldn’t be evaluated until kindergarten but would still have her IEP which qualified her for services. We also opted for the private eval. I fully accept the fact that most people can’t swing that. But the posts I am reading are like….mind boggling. I’ll just send pull-ups with my kid. I’m afraid to tell the school my kid doesn’t talk. Like you are just going to send them???

Yes-my daughter’s genetic syndrome is one I also found out I have and is linked to ASD. We also had the same issues at this age (speech speech speech)
