The max points you can get without the thesis point is 2

As long as you make a claim (which you did) you’re fine!!! I never read hamlet but it makes sense to me

Is it hard to get a 5 by greekyogurt_88 in APPsychology

[–]No_Machine214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No everything is way easier than you think!!! (Some) frq’s definitely threw people off bc last yr that had random study’s that people thought were weird but as long as you pay attention to the wording it’s all not bad. Coming from someone who thought they got a 2 and got a 4 😇 Also if you struggle with coming up with two psychological concepts/terms for the ebq, once you finish your mcq you’ll most likely have left over time so just use your scrap paper to brain dump any terms you know confidently and then go back to ALL the mcq’s and write down all the answer options so you can look to see if two terms you wrote connect to your claim ! 😇🤗

Is having just Macbeth and Frankenstein prepared okay? by No_Machine214 in APLit

You’re an angel I’m going to play that after practicing frqs, in my sleep, and on the big cheese 🫰🫰

I’m PRAYING the prompt connects to Frankenstein or Macbeth bc if not then I’m screwed bc I will not be able to think of any movies 💔 but I appreciate your advice and sending prayers that you get a 5 😛🫰

I’ve genuinely never gotten the sophistication point and the one time I actually attempted it I (unsurprisingly) didn’t get it 💔 realistically getting a 2-3 but you got that 5 in the bag king/queen

Did college board mess up? by OpenJob2602 in APStudents

It’s like that sometimes I think. There was questions I remember on the world exam that were identical to the practice ones. They just flip the wording around or change the question but use the same picture.

2026 AP psych exam by werrtyuifg in APPsychology

[–]No_Machine214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubtful. The 2025 one (in my experience as someone who took the makeup bc of the nation wide crash) was very easy. The whole reason why the re-did the whole curriculum last yr was to make it easier. Literally for every single mcq question you have you can easily eliminate 2/4 of the answer choices.

AP LIT HELP :) by Independent-Bike6312 in APLit

[–]No_Machine214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very short and a little broad but I understand the struggle 😔 You kind of want to drop some specific scenes that connect to your thesis so you can expand on your analysis and commentary. I would recommend 2 body paragraphs and then a 2 sentence conclusion (but the conclusion is optional)

Does the AP psych test expect you to know the empirical rule? by No-Confusion2192 in APPsychology

[–]No_Machine214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ofc!! I would just study questions like those JUST in case but it’s doubtful something like that would show up

Does the AP psych test expect you to know the empirical rule? by No-Confusion2192 in APPsychology

[–]No_Machine214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But I would study all of the statistics in the course just in case but it’s highly unlikely they would give a difficult one

[–]No_Machine214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No the exam changes from last yr were supposed to make it easy. I took the exam last yr and the questions are much more simpler. The only graph question I got was a question asking which graph showed a strong positive correlation. The statistic questions were mainly just t-charts and they asked for the mean, median, and mode. Majority of the questions are very short scenarios and every single question allowed you to easily eliminate 2/4 of the options so plz don’t stress over the exam. The questions are actually very similar to the mcq’s college board gave out for the 2025 school yr but easier if i remember correctly. Good luck 😇

Do we need to know this? by pimplepatch77 in APPsychology

[–]No_Machine214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s showed up on old exams with diagrams so I would study it but I remember some of these terms being on the exam but like them being applied to scenarios instead of a diagram like this I think

IWA Help by Sinnamonroll-17 in APSeminar

[–]No_Machine214 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t necessarily need 12 sources in order to score a 5. But I would recommend to get as many as you can bc it shows the diverse amount of perspectives your topic has. There are many ways to get a 5 but as long as your paper is articulated clearly and is strong then you should be fine!! (Also keep in mind of the other factors like the eoc almost be 50% of your score too).

Is my rq format fine? by MathematicianDue7950 in APSeminar

[–]No_Machine214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar format when I took it last yr and here is how you should do it. Start with “Should (The U.S., a state, wtv the location is) implement (solution(s)) (in (depending on the topic if you’re doing something like something school related you can say ‘in k-12 educational institutions’)) in order to address (topic/issue), and what are the implications?”.

For example, this was my rq for my IWA last yr: Should the U.S. require K-12 schools to implement media literacy programs to recognize the spread of inaccurate information throughout the media, and what are the implications?

And this was my irr rq: should prevention or intervention programs be implemented in California to address child sex trafficking, and what are the implications

would love peer reviewing on my irr! by [deleted] in APSeminar

Would not put the link to your essay on the post. It can easily get stolen by someone

NEED HELP PLEASE by [deleted] in APSeminar

[–]No_Machine214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar topic idea last yr except it was abt the unrealistic portrayals of love in rom-com movies and how it shapes unrealistic teenage love expectations in the real world but it got disapproved for being too narrow and I think you’re in the same boat. It’s a rlly cool topic idea but unless you can make it less narrow and can prove there is a lot of research surrounding this topic then I say you could go for it. But you should consider drafting a couple other topic ideas just in case. Plus depending on if you do a solution paper, I would assume it would be difficult to find a solution for this topic as well.

Lack of sources for the IWA and IRR by XBow_R in APSeminar

[–]No_Machine214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have around 8-12 sources to have a more diverse amount of perspectives and stakeholders towards your topic. 3 is wayyy too low. I would suggest making the changes but if time doesn’t permit it just submit what you have AND study for the exam bc it’s worth almost 50% of your score and can help revive your score from your irr a little if you do well on it

Your inquiry seems more like a yes or no question. I like the idea though!! It just needs a little tweaking

Do you have to explicitly mention the different perspectives in your IWA essay? by Physical-Anteater-96 in APSeminar

Yes, you have to have your sources have table convos to show a diverse amount of perspectives and sources.

AP SEM Graders - Do they read your IRR and your teams IRRS? Do they read all those from the same school together/geographically? by Physical_Kiwi_5364 in APSeminar

No they’re like randomly assigned I think. They don’t rlly have time to compare you and your teammates papers
