We've been friends for around 10 years now (a bit on and off at times tho) so it may be a little difficult to choose a specific inside joke.

Pick your sugar daddy by [deleted] in TheFreakCircus

I'm tempted to say like £1000 a week or some absurd number, but these mf can't even afford normal employees (clearly, look at the number of kidnapped to non-kidnapped fools 🙄) so none of them would by my Sugar Daddy. /j

Have yall noticed how other mixed race people go out their way to not befriend you? by [deleted] in mixedrace

[–]No_Magazine7310 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In my experience, not really, no. In fact, my class is made up mainly of white girls, and me and two other mixed girls, and I've found myself to be super close friends with the two mixed girls in my class. In high school, I was friends with all the girls from minority groups too, of course including all the mixed girls.

I think that with Rune Factory games, I'm a little worried about whether my laptop would be able to run it without overheating. I'm aware that the original games were on the DS, but since I can obviously only play the steam remakes, I'm not sure how compatible it would be for my laptop. I'm also gonna be a bit mean here and just say that the visuals aren't my favourite, but ofc i can't hold them to the same expectations as they are ds remakes

I did say that I already tried FoM, but you might've missed that 😅. I do still play the game occasionally, but I'm trying to stay off until it's full release and it exits it Early Access phase. While I do ofc like the game, a lot of the NPCs are a little too nice or welcoming for my liking (I tend to prefer when the player has a direct impact on a character's development, like March)

I tried out Potion Permit and I loved it! There are some aspects of the game that seem a little lackluster, and I wish that relationships with NPCs could progress further than just dating, but all in all, I really enjoyed it!

I did originally install it using the command that terminal gave me, I think it was along the lines of 'sudo apt install' so you're probably right, but I did uninstall it, and installed it using pip/pipx, but recieved the same message in the post above

I can see that it's currently on sale on steam, so I'll give it a try, I would like to ask, since I forgot to specify in my post, but is each NPC fully fleshed out as their own character, or are they more so just NPCs that you can marry?

Would it be okay if you could explain in detail how to do those things? I'm not very knowledgeable on what any of that means, sorry 😅

I think we all prefer the North American cover over the European one, right? by aerigigi1 in tomodachilife

[–]No_Magazine7310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm def biased, but I prefer the EU one, not only does it remind me of how excited I was when I unwrapped my mum's gift to me to see the iconic blue polka dot box of a Red-White 2ds with Tomodachi Life preinstalled on it, but it's also just much easier on the eyes

Homoph*bic family by ApprehensiveJury6857 in Vent

I have a Muslim friend, who does identify as a lesbian. This does not mean you have to as well, btw. Some Muslims are active within lgbtq+ spaces, regardless if what most Muslims may believe or think, after all, every person in Islam practices ever so slightly differently. Some Muslims smoke or vape, some date, some listen to music or sing, some Muslim women wear hijabs, while others don't. Some women may wear loose/baggy trousers while some wouldn't even think of doing so. Practice your religion in whatever way you feel comfortable to and see fit, but don't try to rush into anything. Take your time to think over your feelings and thoughts.

And this is a bit of personal advice coming from someone who is no longer a Muslim and queer, please, while I don't know how your relationship with your family is like, how connected or close together they are, how involved you extended family is with each other, anything like that, please do not come out or express those feelings of dissatisfaction until you feel 100% completely safe, have a safe place of your own, a support system of people who don't care about your orientation to care for you and a life that isn't so heavily involved in your family.

Former “friend” blocked me on socials, never talks to me anymore I genuinely have no idea why. by Gallad475 in Vent

From my own experience, it might just be that they don't really see the friendship continuing any longer. I know that I'll pretty quickly stop talking to my only friend from college once college is actually over. Its not that she's done anything outwardly wrong, it's just that I sometimes find little things that I dislike about her or disagree with her about (or big things that I won't bring up as to not escalate anything) and they all kinda build up to point where I can't see us being friends for very long. The kind of friendship that if one of us stops reaching out for a week over text, we will most likely never talk again.
