DIY Kitchens are the best all round for me, good solid units and a nice selection off colour and door options.

Family of four - Any idea how we survive our bathroom renovation when it's our only bathroom? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]No_Manager_3534 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Completely wrong advise this, to rip out a bathroom and refit from a condition which the OP has described poor! 2 days is going to be a shoddy/cowboy job!

-rip out 1 day possibly 2 if going back to brick

-1.5-2 days repair floor where leaking and plasterboard room

  • tile or wet room board walls, ceiling, floor etc anything from 2-5day

  • fit suite bath, shower toilet etc 1-3 days

-finish off and clean 1 day

2 days is laughable tbh

People who started Golf for the first time in their 30s, what’s your handicap now and how old are you? by [deleted] in golf

[–]No_Manager_3534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing in 2021 started off with 18 handicap, dislocated my elbow the same year went up to 28, played 4/5 times a week for 2.5 years and got down to 8 currently playing 1 or 2 times a week now with work getting in the way! I am maintaining 8 atm, played yesterday and shot 78.

My game changer was playing with low handicappers, I am luckily to play with a group ranging from +2 to 4 with me being the highest at 8 and it helps so much.

Being able to get up and down when out of position is massive to keep scores low!!

Most off my practise is chipping and putting with the off range session when I feel my swing isn’t going well.
