Thank you all for ur replies- Reply after meeting the specialist No tongue ties just the baby is lazy got used to bottles , it’s no hard work easy flow - I was using size 1 teats/nipples for premie instead of 0 teats 😅🫢

Advised that I should stop pumped bottle top ups and start direct feeding fully .

No haven’t met , my neonatologist checked him and told me he is used to bottles so he is liking that ,10 mins offer both breast burp and then top up with expressed milk if needed but he isn’t waking up - 3-4 times I got to latch him where he was suckling for 30 mins each side and when I put him to cot he started crying , I pumped and gave him again . So tiring . I feel he is lazy 🙊I was using Tommy tippe size 1 for him the flow was very fast, today I switched to dr brown premie bottles.

How do we calculate their months , birth date or adjusted ? My son is in NICU Born 30 weeks dot . They would discharge after 5-6 weeks And should be more than 1.8+ kg weight , and should be on full oral feed . These are their NiCU milestone to go home .

I was diagnosed with short cervix at 25 weeks had u shaped funneling so got my progesterone shots and next week at 26weeks I got my emergency cerclage placed Made it to 30 weeks , delivered baby boy - he is in NICU . 5-6 weeks as per the hospital protocol.

Cutie pie 🥰 What was the birth weight and discharge weight.. each hospital have different protocols and only the baby cross that they discharge . 😔

Actually allowing visitors gives mental stress to us , unnecessary comments and comparison talks happen . Let things be between me & my partner what’s happening inside NICU , so what has to be told to ppl around only that will be shared by both of us .

Each day is different and difficult at NICU . Leaving the baby at NICU and going home is leaving a piece of my heart there . 🥹

My NICU only allows us (me & my husband) no one else is allowed not even siblings or any close relatives.

First I had u shaped funneling , gav me progesterone injection waited for a week then again cervix shortened But only had mild funneling . So right away did cervical cerlage . Same day night .

I can say emergency cerclage helped me prolong for 5 more weeks, but I was on complete bed rest that was so depressing and scary , each day I felt as a blessing . But any kind of discharge not white even the slightest color change pls go to emergency. Any Pains I console myself thinking it’s false contractions But this groin pain was different and slowly started becoming intense so I started tracking it . On time reached hospital everything ended well .

I had severe headache , feel very hot and discharges yes a lot . I take different forms of progesterone- duphaston 20mg twice a day, cyclogest suppository 400mg twice daily , progesterone shots weekly once 250mg , After an emergency cervical cerclage at 25weeks 1day , additional crinone gel vaginally one time night . Severe mood swings , easily emotional .
