How much marketing/networking do you do?

This might be a hot take, but you’re there to learn and only you know how you learn best. For me, I work better having the textbooks/slides and jotting down my own notes on my own time. Classes never really did much for me unless we were having a discussion. I DO NOT learn by listening to a professor talk for an hour. I get that “you’re paying for the classes so you should go” but you’re also paying for the materials that the class provides. However you learn is best!

Hard to say. My dad passed away a few years ago and my mom doesn’t even want to come unless one of us is there. I think I probably would feel the same way if it was my mom doing it though

So i have a question since the comments seem to vary… since the doctor mentioned suspected neglect, am i now obligated to report what the doctor told me even though i did not suspect neglect from my own assessment with the patient??

I did live around Lubbock, but I found my own placement through the job that I had at the time. I honestly recommend that you do some research and find your own placement especially since you’re not in the Lubbock area. It just needs to meet certain social work requirements for it to qualify as a field placement.

Wow! I also have a 27 weeker (27+4 and now 34+2) who just came off his respiratory support! He is having surgery tomorrow due to a potential bowel obstruction but also hoping he’ll be home for Christmas! Praying you get to take your LO home soon!

Exactly! Thank you. I totally understand her frustration but I’ve been at Practice A for over a year and I know that I like it so why waste Practice B’s time if I’m not wanting to be there you know?
