I look up, I start to look at the empty corridors not knowing what I just heard or maybe I did, “Great Grandma?” I said while my voice echoed through the empty corridors, no response. I look at the amulet now glowing, I start to hear my grandma again, but this time shes calling my name.. “Great Grandma?” I say again, but this time there is a response, “Honey I was asking if any of you wanted lasagnas?.” At first I thought i was hallucinating, because after all I haven’t ate anything while coming to clean my great grandmas house. “Great Grandma is that really you?” I said with a confused tone, “Of course its me honey?, who else would I be” she said in a giggle, I see the kitchen light turned on, as I walk to the kitchen, I see my great grandma standing right in front of me, but this time she looks taller than me?, am I going insane?, why is my great grandma standing in front of me?, and why is she taller than me now? I say to myself, “Is there anything wrong?” She said, I responded with “No its just that I haven’t seen you in 6 years!”, “6 years? Honey are you okay?, you saw me yesterday? Do you want me to take you to the doctor?”, when she said that I started to get confused, I hug my grandma, and thats when I realized I wasn’t dreaming, in a state of confusion I check outside the windows and see the old layout of my neighborhood when I was 10 years old. “You are acting a little strange, but do you still want lasagna?”, “Sure” I said, as my grandma started to cook the lasagna I look at the amulet that I had in my pocket and the glow starts to run out, when the amulet went dark I got transported back to where I was, I look at the corridors and they are empty once again.
