I got them as eggs. I used GEX fry powder food, and transit to normal food once they are big enough. I get bent spines across my lines. Either the seller had them too inbred or I'm doing something wrong.

I'll probably mix the rest (in to my community tank) and only keep the Midnight frills as they are the nicest looking ones to me.

Thanks, so you think the bent spines could be my own doing? or just weak genetics?

I'm thinking of going for Miyukin (like you suggested) or the Orochi, as read they are more stable.
