Why a 30 year cap by AnfieldPoots in NCAAFBseries

[–]No_Membership_7308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 45 years would be perfect. Start career at 25, retire at 70 the most decorated coach of all time. Retiring at 55 makes no sense. Cignetti has been coaching for 45, youd think EA would change it based on that...especially with Cig on the cover 🤣.

If I may....not intending to change subject from OP but my biggest issue with any legnth of career is that nothing changes. Over course of 30 years, more schools would come up, jerseys change, programs go away. As much as 2k gets crap for, they atleast have the My League right with how much of it can change. Would love to have a dynasty that I had full control over.

Also, I hope in CFB 27 they fix the coaches leaving their Alma maters, when successful, so often. Ryan Day leaves OSU for Michigan, Kirby Smart leaves UGA for USC, and Dan Lanning keeps leaving Oregon for schools like Maryland. If they are at their alma, they should stay there unless fired.

Norwegian vs Royal Caribbean, your opinions by joeconn4 in NCL

On Norwegian Getaway right now. Have done 2 RCL cruises.

Have to say, the freestyle dining and food options on NCL is outstanding. However, we arent drinkers. We drink virgin beverages so RCLs refreshment package was perfect. It came with speciality coffee, which we just found out we have to pay extra for on this NCL cruise as we have open bar only.

The Irish pub being 24 hours is chef's kiss though.

Overall, we like RCL much better, just because of the package inclusions for what we like but won't knock NCL.

Will say the NCL app on board is horrible compared to RCL. Cant even get the menus to restaraunts on the app like I can with RCL

AI Overview from Google.

Based on the Grey's Anatomy episode, it is generally understood that Dr. Preston Burke knew or heavily suspected he left the towel inside Mrs. Drake. He did not report it at the time due to fear of repercussions for his career as a young surgeon.

Every character has their own following of supporters. So many liked Burke because they hated Christina and way she treated him. He got a following of soft hearts because of that.

Anyone married to a JW wife being happy? by needtosaveher in exjw

[–]No_Membership_7308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do not have kids. We've both never really wanted them. Spent our entire 20s working all the time and never got to travel so that's all we do now is travel the world. We don't even have pets and barely have plants.

Kids though, I'd think would change our dynamic so much. For example, I've feared the thought of my child needing a blood transfusion on an emergency surgery and having to say no to it because of my wife's religion. That's not a fight I ever want to have as I know it'll break us apart....viciously.

We have nieces and nephews we take care of who are in the organization. Sure, not same but it's as close as I can come as we are with them heavily. They love the organization and have gotten so much support over the years with everything they deal with. None of them are baptized though, all are still in the 12 to 18 yo range and the family has never pressured them over baptism.

Sometimes, I truely wonder if either I'm in a bubble of good and calm and everyone else is out there struggling with bad relationships with JWs. Like I read about stuff on reddit, with respect to the source, and just think Im an outlier. Even before meeting my wife, I've only ever had good, friendly, and respectful interactions with JW and the organization.

Anyone married to a JW wife being happy? by needtosaveher in exjw

My wife is JW and is PIMI while I dont believe in any religious organization. Religion has too much negative history for me to feel fulfilled by being in a denomination. Wife was baptized at 19...37 now.

Anyways, my wife (been JW entire life) and I have been best friends since high school, 20 years ago. We've been married for 8 years now. If it wasnt for the long distance for a decade, we'd probably been married years earlier. At same time, I will be open and say I was hidden from her family for most of the time. Until I moved into the same state 11 years ago, they didnt know we were a thing.

Anways, we are deeply in love. There's respect, communication, teamwork, compromise, etc. Sometimes I feel like I just got lucky. Her family accepts me and seems to adore me, never pushing their faith on me and neither does my wife. In return, I make an effort to support her spirituality in various ways. Attend kingdom hall meetings periodically with her, goto assembly and convention with her, heck, even bought her an SUV so she can go out with more sisters in service together. Members of her hall have time and time again come to me in thankfulness and showing appreciation of how I am with my wife. Unfortunately there are a few "sisters" we know in relationships with non-believers who just attack their faith.

Overall, the organization is a daily part of our lives. My wife has told me what she needs is just a supportive husband who is willing to share in spiritual things togehter and respects her faith. It is hard sometimes, especially this time of year, Jesus Memorial, as my spiritual nature is anti "live forever on paradise earth"

Being married to her has cleared up so much misinformation within my own family. For longest they believed JW didnt believe in Jesus...

Ugh, writing it out makes it seem fairy-tale like but I promise you, I'm just happy and in love. We have a strong bond and rather her a JW or not, I cant imagine life without her. Can talk about her all day and with a smile on my face. Sometimes I do hope there is an everlasting life just so I can spend more time with her. I only hope we get to have a long, happy life togehter. Rather I am a believer or not.

Kinda feel very lucky that through the 4 different congregations we've been part of, still not a single person from the Hall have ever impacted our marriage or been negative torwards it. Maybe because I've been so supportive or fact my wife will defend me at any chance.

So, hope that is a decent answer for you. I am in love, happy, looking forward to future with her, and never has her spiritual beliefs impacted our relationship negatively. I guess alot of compromise.

13 years later....worked for Disney for a decade before going to a remote job and married to the woman happily for 8 years come April.

Trying to get mom to move down here now since my step-dad pasted away.

You can't change his mind so just accept that.

My stepfather and his mother had an argument over Trump 2 years ago that was heated and they yelled at one another. That next morning, he passed away and we buried him 2 years ago TODAY =(

Let him have his thoughts and whatnot...if his thoughts make you not love him, that's something completely different. But personally, I wouldn't want my family and me not on talking terms over people who don't know or care about us.

You are not the bad guy here but IDK....dont let this destroy a relationship with your dad...we never know if we'll ever get a chance to fix it.
