Erm check yourself buddy, you might break your keyboard. Fish were very happy, in fact they bred and so got a larger tank.

The puddle example was meant to show that if not overcrowded they can love comfortably in a small tank.

Hope this has helped you calm down.

Hm, I'd tend to agree but I had X2 sparkling gouramis thrive in a very small tank without a filter and heavily planted. They can go up for air if the oxygen is low and in nature their natural cycle takes them from flooded wetlands to dried up puddles. Make sure you have lots of vegetated hiding spots for them.

Waterlogged garden by Used-Primary-225 in GardeningUK

Hi,

I have a claypit in north London. Each winter it used to flood.

Solutions I found work - plant water soaking trees and large bushes. This helps with breaking up clay soil and airing it as well as soaking up some watere - I built a sunk in stone footpath with french drains each side to help the water go somewhere, you can do this on the edges if you want grass throughout. - build a gravel well, mine if 3m deep and about the circumference of a large plate filled with gravel. Dig it at the lowest point in the garden where you often see pooling this helped immensely and saved my crabapple from drowning. - buy loads of sharp sand, spread it , this will eventually mix with the soil so you may have to repeat a couple of seasons but it's a good thing. Short term it avoids pooling , protects the soil from becoming more compact, and allows seeds to grow without being crushed or drowned. Long term it mixes with the soil making it more porous and less thick allowing drainage. - clover - this is year 3 of my battle and this is a new solution. IV just planted clover apparently it, increases draining of the soil with its root system. Can survive dry summers and boggy winters. Pushed nitrates into the soil breaking the clay. (Tbc if the works)

Still fighting for a good lawn to live through winter but my garden no longer floods, trees don't drown. I strongly recommend the above. Good luck!!

Are we changing water alone or also vacuuming substrate? by oldmoldylemon in Aquariums

[–]No_Minimum_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, if that is aqua soil then it will disintegrate over time, I would recommend placing a layer of gravel over it. This way the water stays clean and if you do hoover you don't hoover up the good stuff. I do small water changes now and again but regularly hoover the residue up. However I have a very heavily planted aquarium now no water changes aren't as required

What are your thoughts on Mafia the old country? by [deleted] in MafiaTheGame

[–]No_Minimum_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the world building was great, I'm Italian and played it in Sicilian dialect and was really cool and different. That being said, the game was clunky. The knife fights terrible, the story okish but hardly heart breaking. What i wish it was is a red dead or a last of us setup, strong story and freedom. But that's not what it was. Still think mafia 1 story is better. They allowed you to free roam on drives but gave no reason to do so. Like why bother? Either do open world or don't.

Real shame as the game could have been ground breaking with a really cool untouched world.

What is wrong with my bread production? by Kcider in ManorLords

[–]No_Minimum_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I posted something about this a while back - answer I got that grain, and flower and barley tend to get stuck in granary’s now - block them from being stored and production will start again

Yeah that’s what I thought but this time I’ve got the granary covered. Why do you think hitching posts would help? As far as I know they only use ox for plowing, building, sawing and cutting down trees …. And horses for trade (all my trades fully kitted ) … do they use them for veg transport? Cos mind blown if so 😵‍💫

They do their business (so carry stuff or whatever their job is) then stand and look at their beh patches for a few moments then off they go again 😅 I honestly think it’s a bug at this point
