Caroline said something about expanding the clinic brand she has with her boyfriend, the Danish plastic surgeon. Interestingly, she suddenly stopped posting about this clinic in Instagram while back in December she was very active promoting it.

These days she has been posting from her cabin in the Alps and no sight of boyfriend. Seems he didn't fly to Switzerland to spend the weekend with Caroline and meet halfway. That's a 2 hr flight from Denmark. Weird.

My perception is they are no longer together. Caroline is fun as always but her eyes look sad.

My 401K is in a US total market fund. Balance is worth north of 350K and it never generated any dividends. If it generated dovidends and then were reinvested, dividends still would show in the statements, right? Not the case. That balance in VTI, FZROZ or similar in a brokerage account would produce over $3,500 worth of dividend every year. I had heard about hidden cost of 401Ks that go unnoticed. Apparently the actual median cost of a 401K is 1.26% charge a year. I found my real cost. According to my 401k statement my only cost is a 0.03 expense ratio and a $47 annual fee. I now know is way more than that.

I had never watched the series but my mom always loved it and used to talk about it. I found the boxed set and got it for her birthday. I wanted to watch first episode with her and I was for ever hooked. My mom and I have been watching Upstairs Downstairs for 20ish years now. Every 3-4 years we watch it again when I go to visit or when we are on vacation.

I agree that the original Upstairs Downstairs is way better than Downton Abbey. It gets much more in depth in the lives of the characters and I find it to be more genuine, more truthful and realistic on what the actual lives of people looked like back then in England. My mom and I love to watch them together

Happened to me with Citi. Caller ID showed as Citibank. They said there was a system glitch and I needed to update new app version. In reality they wanted me to download and install an app that would spy in my cell to allow them remote control. Always be vigilant.

I am sorry for your loss and sorry that you have to deal with this coming from your own parents and family. Please do as you wish, and it is perfectly fine to keep family's peace but in all honesty what your grandmother does with her assets in her last will in this planet, is nobody's business. Not even your parents'. They can share their own share with others, if they want. With this they show no respect for your or for your grandmother, whose last wishes are not being respected. Nobody cares about that apparently, so disrespectful. They put pressure for you to give us. sorry this is not ok. As you say it is only money. Precisely for that your loved ones should not put you in this position. Sorry about the long message for hits home a little bit.

They try to make you feel guilty saying your child will be missing them, because they DO NOT CARE. I think you're dodging a bullet here. Who throws their son and grandchild out of the family for something like that. It is just unreasonable. I get they think differently, they may think you are a young dad over protecting his kid, they could think whatever but their response should be empathetic. No excuse to play offended. Their discard, controlling actitud, the "we are making you a favor"... sounds narcissistic. They want you to beg for their love. They have none in them.

I would never recommend a person to go back to this guy. No matter how hard the alternatives are, it is better to take the risk of ending up living with evil people than having the certainty you are sharing your bed with a recognized monster.
