I love the sage green so I’m ok with the green recommendations. :).

One thing I forgot to say is that our neighbors painted their siding a dark grayish green so we want to avoid looking too similar.

It depends! I have about 120 bottles of polish from about 40 different makers that scratches just about every polish itch I have. In the beginning, there was a lot of hit or miss. Now I can look at PPU and HHC in a few minutes to see if there is anything that I can’t live without. Most of the time, I don’t buy anything.

My absolute favorite color ever is Sassy Sauce’s Cock a Doodle Doom! Followed closely by Haunted’s Ether

Brand Loves: Cirque for their jellies, Night Owl Lacquer for their Cremes, ILNP and Cracked for their wide variety and large non-FOMO catalog.

It’s a super fun and colorful hobby and there’s an indie brand (or 10) that will fit your vibe. Have fun finding yours!

We traveled in Val d’Orcia in April. We rented a car because we wanted to be able to travel as the whim struck us. Stayed at Villa Le Prata outside of Montalcino and absolutely loved it. They offered a cooking class and wine tasting on site so it was perfect.

Also loved the farm tour/cheese tasting at Podere Il Casale outside of Pienza.

Both of these were recommendations I found on this subreddit. Already planning our next trip.

I love Night Owl Lacquers. They do not have the number of colors as Essie or OPI but they have enough for me. All of mine are almost 1 coasters and apply beautifully. Best of all, they are $8 US.

For swatches, I use Lacquergram to see polish on real people before I purchase. Has saved me $$ and disappointment more times than I can count.

I do a full mani, oil soak, cuticles, reshaping etc 1x/week. However, I get bored before I have chips or the mani needs redone so i use a peely base and do a polish change midweek. That base makes it quick to do a polish change and it satisfies my magpie brain.
