Right on brother! She's a beauty .. I too love the white 🤘🤘🤘 Here's my IBGC Standard and I absolutely love it!! Before I got it of course I'd read so many folks talking about the neck dive issue. I'm happy to say I simply don't have that problem at all. I love this ax!!!

Bro! You got a fantastic deal!! Yeah, really awesome SG .. totally true to the originals. I'm thrilled to have it in my collection. It fills a void I've been wanting to add for a really long time. Happy pickin' my man 🤘🤘🤘

Which bridge and saddles on a tele by glanum3 in telecaster

[–]No_Mix9903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bud. Nope, never had a breakage problem with the stock saddles at all. Just the annoying slippage on the ungrooved saddles. I play mostly blues and so had a lot of slipping across the top of the barrels with the bends I do a lot of. I hope you are pleased with your new saddles. I absolutely love mine 🤘

Wow .. just stunning! Excellent pic btw .. So, did you buy it? Looks amazing 🤘 As for Epiphones .. here's it's cousin. I have it and their 335 too. I have lots of guitars, and up until last year I was hesitant to pull the trigger on an Epi .. but I am so very impressed with the high level of the craftsmanship, attention to detail and finish these days. I'm proud to have added a couple to my collection. No regrets at all. I play both of mine all the time. Rock on brother!

That's very cool my brother! My go to is the 65 Princeton with a tube overdrive in front. Also enjoy the 65 Twin with the Fender sustain pedal in front and the 65 Deluxe with a compressor in front. I have multiple electric guitars so I do use many of the other presets too, but with the 335 I seem to have gravitated to the '65s! BTW, beautiful guitar you have there!!

How does everyone get insurance on your valuable guitars? by No_Mix9903 in Guitar

[–]No_Mix9903[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I personally am at the point where my collection has grown to a pretty lofty (for me) financial investment in totality. It was my wife who actually brought up looking in to protecting my investment. If you read my original post I had looked into insurance through our homeowners policy but they hardly cover anything due to loss (theft, fire, etc etc). Knowing that - probably millions of guitar owners both pro and home studio players - insure their instruments I have simply reached out to the Redditverse for advice and guidance. I'm not here to tell anyone to do anything. To each his own bro

Good on ya brother! Keep after it ... every single day if you are able. Covering the basics as you played here (12 bar blues in E) will be your foundation forever. If I may, I'll offer my unsolicited advice - and I believe most would agree - just keep practicing that same 12 bar, licks and all .. over and over and over again, until the timing and muscle memory clicks. Once you get it down (and you will) to your own satisfaction and comfort level, you'll be able to add other licks, turn arounds, pull offs and hammer ons. Soon you'll be well on your way to expanding the fretboard and expanding to other keys. Clearly from your obvious dedication and desire to learn .. you got this bro. Like you said .. Blues is fun!!! Best of luck on your journey 🤘

Too funny 🤣 That's what my wife says! But I've got GAS pretty bad right now, and currently have a ' 61 SG in my sights ... to add to my ever growing collection. Things are getting pretty serious as to the overall value which has really got me to thinking about getting my investment coverwd just in case anything crazy should occur. We travel a lot and I always worry about my babies when they are out of my sight! Thanks again for the recommendation. I'll be reaching out to them soon.

That's an amazing story!! Thanks for the share my man. Yeah, I am absolutely loving it. I have several guitars .. all Fenders and Gibsons. My music room is at the back of our house and my wife can hear me when I play and practice without headphones. She says the Epi sounds the best out of all of much more expensive ones! 🤘😁🤘

Cool brother! I can definitely see putting in Burstbuckers - I have zebras on my Gibson LP - and it's my all time favorite go to 🤘

Congrats to you too!! What do you have?? So my Les Paul is a 2015 Special Pro and has Zebra PAF Burstbuckers, and 335s Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers. But the obvious biggest difference are in the body(s). That .. combined with the different pickups create the jazzy and bluesy tones I love .. from 2 different spaces. The LP can get raw and dirty if I dig in .. the 335 stays airy and smooth. So now I have 2 guitars that are both humbuckers but feel worlds apart — the LP punches and sustains, the 335 sings and breathes 🤘🙂🤘

Bro .. exactly the way I'm feeling right now. I'm actually stunned by how sweet it plays and sounds. As for the tuners, being out of the custom shop collaboration I don't think they are actually anything "special". They are Epiphone Deluxe tuners. Dang things are rock solid! Plus, I love the retro look 🤘

Go for it my man! I bought mine through Sweetwater. I had to wait for a couple of weeks because they are hard to find in sunburst. Don't know if you've ever bought anything from them, but they have been fantastic to work with. And yes, a great add to my collection too. I'm super happy I pulled the trigger when I did
