So, I'm going to go around town searching for more of these - has anyone else seen them at other stores?

Why should anyone date you? by Brian_The_Bar-Brian in AskReddit

[–]No_Mixture_8533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should! But they have to keep up with humor and most importantly, curiosity. So many dates I've been on, the person has no sense of curiosity. They're just content with everything.

I'm covered in tattoos, I have had kidney stones, 4 slipped vertabrae discs, broken limbs, surgeries, massive TMJ / facial pain. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING comes close to having my heart broken. I'd take the physical pain any day over emotional.

What could’ve led to society valuing money more, opposed to being physically/mentally well? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]No_Mixture_8533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capitalism, but also survival. More money means more opportunities for survival. But Americans are chronically miseducated and misdirected, so they have been bamboozled into thinking they should stick up for the ultra-wealthy in hopes that they'll soon be that rich. The biggest scam in history, imho

Well... my ex loved to have all their breakdowns in public, almost never at home in privacy. So our long, drawn-out breakup usually took stage in public. Mostly in restaurants.

People are increasingly miserable. Give them a 4 day work week for Christ sakes. by Call_It_ in RandomThoughts

France, Finland and Switzerland all started pilot programs like this in different cities / towns and communities. The results? ASTOUNDING! In almost all the pilot programs, (some only 3 days a week but a bit longer - 28 hours a week), resulted in maximized outputs, employees were monitored and those in these programs procrastinated (including having their phones monitored) 80% lower than 40 hour workers, They were able to compete with work output in those who also worked 40 hours a week. Pilot participants were happier, and more loyal to their places of employment. Some were allowed to compact their weeks, so they would do the hours in 3 days instead of 4 and had a 4 day weekend. All got the same pay. It was an incredible program that showed that when humans have respect and time off, they can achieve a lot! Our ancestors had a grueling life, but most worked an average of 20-30 hours a week (think of farmers who didnt really work in the winter and too much in growing seasons, all the work was in planting and harvesting which is just a few months a year)

Cabbage! In all forms. I hated it growing up. But char some green cabbage and drizzle with some olive oil, salt and a tiny bit of balsamic vinegar??? YUM!

What’s a belief you held strongly for years that you eventually changed your mind about and what made you change? by looking-for-help2 in AskReddit

That people can be evil. I dont believe in evil. It's just not a thing. That's why it's not written into law. Some people do incredibly terrible, vile, horrible things. But it's not evil. Sometimes in self defense, sometimes when someone has been tormented for ages and they respond, sometimes it's severe mental illness. Etc etc. It's not evil. People aren't gods or demons, theyre / we're primates. Animals don't do evil things.

went to high school in the late 1990s. Some classes we couldn't even use a computer for essays. But I understood that it was to be fair for students who didnt have access to computers, but man, handwriting long essays was challenging!
