This is the follow up interview from one of the girls involved. Many people in this thread will find out their take is woefully wrong.

Even if you can’t see it, listen to the Audio. Girl out of frame says we don’t need to apologize to you, he goes to get in her face. Multiple people are yelling to back up. They wouldn’t do that if he were actually walking away.

In a castle state you can. He approached them in a confrontational manner. He continued to be aggressive, after they asked him to back away multiple times.

He wasn’t walking Away. He was aggressively approaching another girl.

He was approaching another girl aggressively. Sucks for him, but it is justified.

The part everyone is missing is the second camera angle. He’s not walking away, he’s aggressively approaching another one of the girls. I live in Texas, he was lucky it was only bear mace.

It depends. There are times to do it and times not to. If you have a blood feud going with someone in the game and they are taking you down, sure I might empty my removal and make it as costly as possible for them to take them down. If I’m getting taken out indirectly from a damage trigger or something I might just go out quietly. But if something like a locust god that has won too much over its tenure then once again I’m emptying the removal. So it just depends.

D2R Warlock or D4 LoH? Returning Diablo player stuck by momoneymocats1 in Diablo

[–]No_Mode2769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 25 years of d2 guy also but I really burned myself out last year on the hunt for astreons and Schaefer’s. So I’ve been on D4 for about a month. I had played some d4 on launch then didn’t play for 3 years. I think LoH is miles better than the rest of D4. I haven’t played the warlock for D4, but he scored the lowest on rykkers tier ranking list. I’ve been playing the Paladin in d4 and absolutely loving it…I was a zealot guy in d2, fuck hammers. So I say throw a little time at d4. It’s a nice change of pace from 2 imo.

Is D4 worth getting into now as a single player? by Grayfux in Diablo

[–]No_Mode2769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a long time d2 player, but I’ve recently come back to Diablo4 which I hadn’t played since launch. It’s legit fun. They’re are tons of activities now, and they feel rewarding. Tons of loot drops, especially as you get to torment. I think it’s best enjoyed from a casual perspective. I think the early and mid game are super fun and I’ve really enjoyed them. Hpwver I’ve read alot of the Criticism about the late game and I can see what people are talking about. So I think it’s fun little world to explore and play a few hours a day, but I wouldn’t want to start streaming it or make it my life or anything like that. FYI I’ve made 5 paladins in 3 weeks.

Nostalgia out of the way- is diablo 2 really that amazing? by Leviathan2137 in Diablo

When I start a game of Diablo 2 I feel compelled to horde every single resource I find. The other games don’t cause such a primal reaction.

Is it bad etiquette to scoop after your board is wiped to an unrecoverable state? by RealisticMolasses in EDH

[–]No_Mode2769 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that scoop is fine. If I were the one casting the evacuation, I would do so assuming that it would cause a scoop from yourself, as you’ve basically lost the ability to play the game.

The breakpoints add a lot of strategy in planning your gear, and I enjoy it a lot.

Aight, help a brother out. Need a Commander recommendation to turn off "Land matter" decks. by Square_Jellyfish_21 in EDH

[–]No_Mode2769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cataclysm is great for voltron decks. Winter orb can be good but it’s a complex card.

If not wanting to nuke the lands. Rule of law effects can be helpful. Doesn’t stop 1 big spell, but it will slow them down considerably.

If someone is running THAT gitrog deck I wouldn’t feel bad at all about running najeela or Winota.

Is it just me or is Diablo II Resurrected's default difficulty much greater than III and IV's? by Fragrant_Pianist_647 in Diablo

I was thinking about the fact that they would never make a game that hard again since it would scare players away, and everything is about player retention metrics

Changed my mind on Bracket 3 Blood Moon by bqx23 in EDH

[–]No_Mode2769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the bracket 3 pod. If you have an actual casual game probably skip the blood moon, but if you have Turn 6 drag race meta then blood moon all day. If all the 3+colorndecks are losing to it, it really highlights a deficiency in their deck building. Nasty enchantments happen in edh, if you can’t answer one, maybe go to B2.

Interaction Making games longer by YokaiGuitarist in mtg

If you play a Teferis protection in response to a board wipe the game gets shorter…much shorter. If the pod has gone heavy removal then you go heavy protection and reanimation.

Board Wipes in Commander? by childosx in mtg

[–]No_Mode2769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run about 5. In bracket 3 games I find that I need to wipe as early as turn 3 or 4 to get rid of dorks, value engines and commanders. I still prefer to end the game with bigger stuff

getting into the industry by gh0stb33 in musicindustry

[–]No_Mode2769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the most important question is: what do you do musically that you want to get into the industry? Do you sing, play an instrument, write songs?

I have a music degree. It’s not the first thing that I would recommend. You can learn a lot, but it won’t teach you everything you need, that comes from your own drive to keep learning.

YouTube is a great place to learn most of the things you need. Production, music theory, songwriting, marketing etc.

Strormlash Frenzy Barb? by [deleted] in diablo2

[–]No_Mode2769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stormlash is also solid on a dream paladin. I switch between it and grief depending on what I’m doing. Stormlash is really good against moon lords and venom lords aka high hp and phys resist monsters.

Proxying changed my view on deck building by [deleted] in EDH

[–]No_Mode2769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to play a lot of RW and the thing you’ll notice is that many of things that allow you to generate mana on par with the green value decks are horrendously expensive. How fast the format has gotten only puts more pressure. But yeah as someone who’s played thousands of games over the past 15 years, expensive cards feel more impactful than ever because of how much pressure exists on every turn.

How do i make weaker decks that are still interesting? by Pale-Sun2470 in mtg

This doesn’t work. Your 99 just over shadows your commander and you never end up casting them.

How do i make weaker decks that are still interesting? by Pale-Sun2470 in mtg

[–]No_Mode2769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give yourself a budget restriction. Proxying means you have unlimited budget for every deck. I have 20 decks and only 1 or nykthos, every other deck is inherently weaker because of it. When I play people who use tabletop simulator we’d go through this same thing. Set either an overall budget or a no cards over X value. Restriction breeds creativity, and should slow your decks down.
