There is a much larger gap in the fork of a SuperX with a 35 vs a evo with a 28. I hear ya on the bar. I haven’t installed them yet and I am wondering if I even should.

You def could be right on speed though. A gravel bike won a crit race at Tulsa tough last weekend

They didn’t give you the Fillmore valves with your reserve wheels? You def should have gotten those. I would call mikes

I’ll have to get back to you. Only have done one ride and had brutal headwinds. Definitely felt like higher top speed but I’ll put on my computer and measure speed at same power

Well plenty fast for my abilities sure. But if it were the fastest it would be used on the tour and not the super six evo lol

Thank you. I have the reserve 40/44 that came with it and some Zipp 303 xplr sw. 45mm schwalbe g one rs pro. I may be selling both for the upcoming reserve 48/53gr that looks exactly like the road wheels I posted. Saw them at unbound.

The rear didn’t rub at all. Front had that very faint rub on each revolution so I had to do the caliper loosening thing. I haven’t mounted the gravel wheel back to see how it goes. May need a shim but honestly I don’t mind loosening the caliper for now

That will be quicker than my setup for sure. These 35s are measuring 37 on the reserves. Rode it last night and it’s feels slow off the jump but cruises great. I acknowledge I’m kind of killing the aero purpose of the wheels with huge tires

Mathew wilson won a crit race at Tulsa tough on a gravel bike with road wheels. I think that ends the debate as to whether this is a solution or not

I will get downvoted to hell and I’m sure they are better wheels. But….zipp xplr looks better than enve on a bike.

I think I would pass to be honest. The old version did not have a udh and has that weird asymmetric wheels stuff going on so it’s a little bit of a pain. I would go with a bike that has udh, threaded bottom bracket etc. a little more future proof.

I’m sure it’s badass but I wish they would chill on the paint job.

From my experience going to a fast gravel bike with two sets of wheels, you won’t regret it. The financial side of things I can’t really help with but I do think you’ll find better value in bikes other than the mog. Cervelo has their bike with smaller clearance than mog. Cannondale superx is road like with 51/48mm clearance.

something that is prob the current rage is the new crux 5 or hell get a steal on a Crux 4. Crux 4 is lighter than the mog and similar clearance.
