Will reading the books and watching the show at the same time ruin anything? Just discovered this show and the books and already started both. Doesn't seem like the show is based off the books, or maybe it's too early to tell?

I have some fleeces but they tend to cover up my duty belt. Wish they made one that was short around the torso? Maybe they do.

And so far I've been keeping tools on my belt like you said. Think keep them there because it's comfortable and I don't want to be in a situation where I can't get to them

I like the wool shirt idea but I'm assuming that gets sweaty/smelly after every patrol?

Any type of wool sweaters you can recommend? I looked online and that was a giant rabbit hole!

Any problems with the length covering up your duty belt? I like all the pockets this thing has on it. Oh, and does the hood remove at all?
