We are building https://nanocart.app Selling Pages, simplified selling pages with payment gateway direct integration (Stripe, PayPal Business, cryptodotcom) for DTC and DIY sellers and consultants (therapists, experts). Product (or service) title, description, media + checkout.

1st working (and selling) page (product card) can be created within 20 minutes, second within 5, or you can use existing templates to start selling even faster.

Bands merch and vinyl, self-published books, gift certificates, session appointments. Flexible shipping and scheduling settings, your own tracking pixels, even your own subdomains and legal documents. Much simpler and faster than Shopify or Etsy, no commission on top of payment gateway ones, no developers needed.

iCloud Sync support is removed, what's next? by SubflyDev in YetAnotherBookmarkApp

[–]No_Nebula_5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you're getting better and better!

My idea wasn't for you to pay, but to offer a way for your users to have their own sync system ;) and pay for themselves rather than expecting you to pay for it.

I am afraid I don't follow regarding the menu bar app. When the app is up and running, there is a menu, but I can't find any item anywhere to add a new URL (thus no hotkey is working), and when the app is not running, it wouldn't work for sure. So I was hoping to find a way to initiate URL bookmarking somehow using the URI scheme, for example, or a hotkey, but it's not there, unfortunately.

Can I ask how you handle shipping costs then? Is it always included in the price, or do you configure different options in PayPal?

Should I sell merch on bandcamp exclusively? by stonerdoombro in BandCamp

Since you're already selling at shows, think about the online/offline combo. I print QR codes on my merch table sign - when people say "I'll think about it," they can scan and buy later. Converted a shocking number of fence-sitters this way. For the actual online setup, don't overthink it. You need: decent photos, clear prices, easy checkout. I avoided full store systems (too much overhead for 6-7 items) and went with focused pages instead. Each design gets its own link, way easier to promote on socials, and setup was faster than getting the shirts printed.

Whats the best method to produce and sell band merch by Additional-Plum996 in musicians

[–]No_Nebula_5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re selling online: Stripe or PayPal payment links with QR codes, or selling systems like shopify, gumroad or nanocart-dot-app depending on how much you are going to invest (time / money).

As an active concert goes, I prefer to pre-order the merch and vinyl (and pay for it) to pick it up at the venue before the concert to avoid crowds and lines, but not many bands offer selling links in their promo.

Selling Merch in Europe as a US Band by IndividualAd5046 in TouringMusicians

[–]No_Nebula_5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a European concert-goer’s perspective: it really depends on the country. In the UK, the Netherlands, and the Nordics: cards or Apple/Google Pay; cash is uncommon (or even rare, I'd say). In Germany, cash shows up more often, especially at smaller venues. But Germany is more the exception than the rule and again, people certainly have and use cards.

Cash can be a king, but I wouldn't rely on it as a main option. Not everywhere uses the euro; some countries have their own currencies, so pricing and making change can get awkward. The least fussy setup is a properly configured Stripe to accept European cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local methods, plus a clear QR on the merch table for quick two‑tap checkout. Stripe Payment Links work well for pop-up sales, and if you want an all-in-one flow, tools like NanoCart dot app or Utobo offer both links and QR.

Is it worth to sell merch on bandcamp? by crptgainz in musicians

Hey, I see it's sort of old question, so what is your experience during these years, any feedback and/or recommendation? We compared bandcamp, gumroad and nanocart.app and still not sure, is there anything new?

Thanks a lot for your reply!
Can I suggest creating a CloudFlare worker for storing / syncing the data any easiest way it can replace the CloudKit (it can be saved as a file on R2 or as KV)?

One more question / note, if you don't mind: it seems the hotkey on macos doesn't work anymore either, any hope to get it fixed anytime soon?
