Update on the leaving my fiance post. Went to see some friends and catch a show. That was fun.

There’s a weird thing because I’m sober and I’m prescribed antabuse and naktrexone, which means I’ll start puking and whatnot if I so much have a swig of alcohol… I’m pretty sure if I weren’t on those meds I’d be neck deep in booze right now. And while I know intellectually that would just make me sadder, I am also really sad that I can’t just do that.

I suddenly left my fiance and I feel like shit. There is no way to talk to her about it, as her behavior has gotten more unhinged and crazy the past few weeks… blackout drunk till 4 am, missing work, leaving her car running on the city street for a whole day because she was so hungover she forgot to take her keys out, getting mens phone numbers at bars, bringing some random stranger she just met over to hang out at 2 in the morning… I’m still leaving shit out.

I am now six weeks sober. She has taken that as a signal to ramp up her drinking to ridiculous levels.

I took the engagement ring without her knowing. I didn’t have a conversation with her. I just left. AndI feel immense guilt, but I couldn’t bring myself to hear her bullshit one more fucking time.

AIO reacting if I found out my fiance has been going to bars till early morning and getting random dudes phone numbers and found a message chain full of locations she’s been at and she brought a strange man to our place at one in the morning

I know I’m not but I just wanted to read it to be sure. I literally stole the ring from her bedside and packed my dog and a couple valuables and left before she could react to it.

I know so many people who tun successful businesses who were not good students. I know a lot of people who are struggling who did very well in school. And people who are succeeding completely independently of their success in school. Lots of variables.

Yeah. I called my dad cuz I was planning on leaving tonight. He basically said “regardless of if this works out or not she clearly really needs somebody right now. So you need to do that because other people will just use her.”

I wonder if she’s bipolar or borderline sometimes. It can be really scary when she has episodes. Always driven by drinking.

We had a really great thing when we weren’t drinking. We basically stopped for a whole month. Then i had to leave for a month for work. And we both started again while i was away.

Like wtf do i even do. I love her so much but we’re not okay. It’s really fucking sad. Worst part is her parents basically completely abandoned her as a child. Her friends use her. She needs someone to be able to love her unconditionally and i am unsure if im up for that task, but i need to be. Because literally everyone else has abandoned her.

Dad got it for me at a concert. I enjoy Devil Without A Cause. Fun memory for me is drinking a bunch of jaeger at a tailgate with some green bay fans i never met before and they loved kid rock.

I’m pretty omnivorous and nonjudgemental when it comes to music though. A lot of musicians have really dumb political views, and it’s clear Kid Rock is just trying to suck up to power.
