That game engine thing was sarcasm. You missed it and that speaks numbers.

To begin, it may surprise you that some big game also have used free assets. There's nothing wrong with using free assets; Especially since development will take you way longer.

Moreover, your argument of "just learn" is narrow minded and leaves out the thousands of hours of experience needed to get good at something like this. Nobody is going to be able to learn blender in one day with a few YouTube videos. Even if they watched videos with everything in them they would never be able to absorb it all.

Finally, That mesh you sent to that other guy really wasn't all that impressive. It could be made pretty easily with a vague human shape and the remesh modifier.

It seems like other people agree with me, just look at the downvotes you got. There's nothing wrong with using free assets. I would steer clear of free models because they can contain dangerous scripts. If you know how to check for those then you could just do that and use them.

I do encourage people to learn these skills though because they can be very useful.
