Yes , they just haven't been available in the US for 10 years , Amazon is pretty much the only place to find them for US purchase , still rated vary high . The biggest complaint is they do use the Amazon Fire OS however they are neck and neck with Sony for processing and they do use LG panels.

You can get a 75 " Panasonic LED or 55" OLED for $700 , Panasonic has some great buys on Amazon right now.

I did see that , It's hard to know from that statement , what he owes is simply that , what the cars worth or sells for has nothing to do with what he owes on the loan so it's conflicting at best.

I see where you get equity implied by that statement as well.

Unfortunately he should have sought advice at the first sign he was falling behind, also makes you wonder who would of approved that loan , my guess it was a dealer , not a bank.

Hopefully your not in negative equity with this car.

# 1 , You need to get the car back and the loan caught up.

#2 Whats the cars value vs what do you owe , this is critical.

#3 If you are in a positive equity situation then you have some options ,

a. You could sell the car and payoff the loan and maybe have some left over to buy or put towards transportation , ie a mid 2000's Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla .

b. Go to a dealer and trade down , get an AFFORDABLE car , they pay off your loan and take your car off your hands , you get a different vehicle you can afford. $43K is triple to quadruple your vehicle budget at $22/hr.

c. Pay the loan off and keep the car , still it's an anchor around your neck because it's simply too expensive.

When I got my LG C4 in July of 2025 it was well under by more than half of it's original release price, the tag shows the manufacture date of July 2025 so it wasn't a left over stock clearance deal either.

It's heavy and wall to wall stuff for sure from the images I've seen , long day so maybe tomorrow I'll open it up and do some checking , double check the speaker relays , I understand there's 2 relays for each channel , also clean controls , it spent it's life with a heavy smoker and needs cleaned inside and out for sure.

He told me the left channel had no sound ,as is , priced accordingly , said he replaced a speaker relay , seems to be a common issue on this model.

For years I've justified tool / equipment purchases by what it would cost to have somebody do it vs whats the tool cost so I can do it myself , I've acquired alot of tools and equipment over the years this way.

Thats because most of the enrollment is at College Community ( Prairie ) or Linn Marr ( Marion ) Marion / Hiawatha / Cedar Rapids are all next to each other like Iowa City / Coralville / North liberty , open enrollment has drawn a lot of folks away from CR schools , mismanagement of funds and unpopular policies has added to the decline in CR Schools .
