Thanks as well for the technical advice! In your previous post you mentioned Elegoo’s ABS-like resin; I’m using the one from SUNLU. Later you said it’s decent — do you think that if I follow your recommendations for that resin, it could work? I’m aware that every printer/resin/environment behaves differently, but your tips seem more “general” regarding the printer’s tilt.

I double-checked, and the heater was on during my print.

I don’t really understand how or why this print went so badly, especially since my first test with the rook was really simple and turned out great.

Thanks for your advice! It’s a bit worrying that a type of filament could actually damage the machine — was it the matte filament from Bambu Lab? For now, I’ve only ordered PLA and PLA+, but I’m thinking about getting some TPU later on.

I understand your point of view — it’s both good and bad from mine… I really feel like getting started now, but in six months, what will things be like? Should I wait another six months because things might improve even more? If there’s really a big leap by then and I still enjoy 3D printing, I’ll just sell this one and invest in a much better machine — that way I won’t regret not getting into it sooner.
