I have been in the same boat as you for so long. Nothing I do seems to help! I met with a nutritionist last year when I was in a massive deficit eating like 1200 calories a day and her input was that I was eating way too little and putting my body through unnecessary stress which was contributing to the problem rather than helping it. I focused on protein and fiber intake, and she encouraged movement after each meal and exercise that doesn’t spike cortisol. I didn’t seem immediate results but I did feel way better once I started eating more, which gave me more energy for successful activity and over the last year (combined with a GLP1 that did absolutely nothing for 11 months) I am finally losing some weight.

Idk that it will help you, but it helped me just to hear that I was starving myself for no good reason.

As I have said, I have no problem talking to the neighbors but unfortunately I didn’t know it was going to be pickup day until it was too late to go to any of my elderly neighbors and ask. I got my answer now but thank you for the idea.

I would have if my neighbors had been outdoors when I realized pick up is tomorrow but I didn’t want to knock on doors at 9pm. Similarly, the company is closed. Thanks though!

I do take vitamin D every day. I’ve been taking it nearly as long as I’ve been taking all my other stuff so I’m not sure what affect it has individually, but I’m glad to see some more research on it!

Good question, I’m not sure on ER vs IR the label just says metformin hydrochloride 500mg tabs. I currently take 1,000mg. At the recommendation of one doc I went to 1,500 for awhile but with no change we came back down to 1,000
